If you cap a price on a barrel of oil this ridiculous ruin will end and the everyday citizens of the world will no longer be taken advantage of. If oil has not become a legitimized pyramid scam then you can never say there has ever been one. Write your Senator and Congressman and let them know we want oil capped. Back when oil was $20 a barrel the cost of production was built in and the $20 a barrel price brought nice profits. However, as the world became a globalized economy and cowardly CEO’s lost their ability to be competitive, business profits began to sour. As the businesses soured so did their earnings and thus the stock market took a plunge. What did investors do, where could they earn their money? Well in stepped corporate greed and we had the era of cooked books, the rich again profited because they had a superheated place to put heir cash. Well the book-cookers soon got caught and this illegal cash cow got slaughtered. However, the rich found a new way to hyper-accelerate their worth, they started investing in high risk debt such as sub prime mortgages and junk status bonds. Well, the junk bond market got hammered and the federal government stepped in and all that was left was the debt purchases. Well, we are living this crisis and we are experiencing the issues involved with the sub-prime fiasco. So now where do the rich put their money, they put in the commodities market and they turn oil futures into a legalized pyramid scam. The oil companies do not care because they are along for the ride. Terrorists don’t care because many oil rich nations are raking in the bucks and funneling this oil money to terrorist organizations, and the rich don’t care because they once again have a playground for their millions.

See, oil jumped from $20 to $40 based on the war, but when the major war effort stopped the price never went back down. Then the price went up into the 50’s based on refinery issues, well when the refineries got back on line the price never fell. Then we had hurricane Katrina, and this is where the real greed stepped in. The price of oil ran into the 70’s and 80’s and even though all of the refineries got up and running the price never came back down. Then began the oil strikes, the seasonal swithcovers, and the so called rise in demand. These were all accounted for but the price never dropped after the issues got resolved. Cap a barrel of oil price at say $130 and then watch how fast it drops. See oil is running on the greater fool theory, everyone thinks there is an idiot who will buy it at just a dollar more. Well once the last fool is taken the pyramid will end and the price of oil will settle. However, the rich will try and stop this but for the sake of humanity the world better come to grips with this issue and stop the legitimized pyramid scam going on with oil futures right now.

Bring back synthetic oil, whats the problem? Lets create some domestic jobs and alleviate ourselves of foreign oil dependancy.

For all of those who rail on the liberals for their acceptance of abortion in America why do you act so holier than thou for America but yet you probably own tons of products created in China where reportedly abortion is not only legalized but utilized by the Chinese government itself when it comes to citizens who have a female child? Is abortion only a sin to you when it happens in America, does China’s use of it not count? Oh yeah, and I bet you are the same hypocritical bastard who points out that you have a hybrid vehicle in your driveway but also a made in China television and a closet full of made in India clothes in your home.

Ooh I see, even though China is now the number one polluter in the world and India is becoming the fastest polluter of fresh water in the world, you are still the environmental saint because you drive a hybrid, how much of an idiot and a hypocrite are you? And how about you ACLU hypocritical slugs? I bet all of you mug for the camera to defend human rights and freedom of choice but how many of you own a suit that says made in India? I see, it’s o.k. for India to be the number one oppressor of Christianity in the world as long as you get your cheap suit to display on television. Let’s see, how about you fake Greenpeace wannabee tree-hugger types who say how you want to eliminate carbon emissions but at the same time many of you drive automobiles and use machinery built in Latin America where pollution is so rampant many citizens of industrial areas have a half as long life expectancy as normal citizens in the same Latin countries.

Let’s see if I have you pegged. You are against abortion but you do not mind supporting foreign countries where abortion is basically forced upon innocents, talk about hypocrisy in the face of God. You also drive a hybrid vehicle which was made in a country where smog, pollution, and carbon emissions are ten times that of auto plants in America. I now understand better but I bet you go to church or synagogue, or mosque and you pray to God to ask for forgiveness, but you probably wear your made in India clothes so while you ask for forgiveness in Gods house remember that you are wearing clothes made in a country where oppression of religion is most prevalent. You are probably the same idiot who lets their children play with lead based toys and faulty baby equipment coming out of Indo-China aren’t you? Yeah, you show your big self to be so righteous when it comes to America but you fail like a fool when it comes to the real world.

See globalization is not just a business it is a total way of life so there is no way you can stand up to abortion in your Asian abortion supporting clothes. There is no way you can throw the first stone when you are wearing clothes made in India by which the government does nothing to stop religious persecution. Go ahead, tell me who is more real and true, is it me or is it you, you hypocritical bastard? I dare you to tell me different? You my dear hypocrite are potentially more bought than a sleazy Washington politician, of which there are a few around.

Gas prices are high based on the perceived value of the American dollar and the American dollar is low because of the sluggish American economy. However, if the economy rebounds and the value of the dollar goes up the price of gas also rises because the commodities traders say that a more energetic economy results in more oil consumption and thus oil futures once again rise. This begs the question, is the value of currency tied to oil or is it vice-a-versa? In 1980 Congress passed the Energy Security Act which led to the creation of the Synthetic Fuels Corporation. Congress provided the Synthetic Fuels Corporation with approximately $90 billion in loans and incentives to get started. The Synthetic Fuels Corporation was established with a goal of creating two million barrels a day of synthetic oil by 1988. The corporation soon failed based on the economics of the 80’s because members of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries retaliated against synthetic oil production by bringing down the price of oil. Oil went from approximately $40 a barrel to less than $8 a barrel and this caused synthetic oil to be too expensive at the time. However, with the prices of oil now it seems that synthetic oil should be hot and heavy on our politician’s agendas. And speaking of politicians, why haven’t the American politicians come out with a more aggressive plan to combat high fuel prices and foreign energy dependence like synthetic oil? Maybe its time we drill in Alaska before we have to sell Alaska just to pay for a few gallons at the pump.

Nothing slows down an economy and hurts a business cycle like the cost of fuel and yet the politicians running our country have yet to do anything out the high prices of energy. Now for the topper, while every blue-blooded yellow streaked outsourcing American CEO Coward tries to make us all greener they have not noticed that the Earth is actually cooling the last two years. Yeah, the Earth is cooling. There will actually be procedures occurring in the frozen tundra designed to actually dirty up snow to reduce heat loss and actually warm up the Earth so for all those do-gooders out there it may be time to reconsider clean coal technology and get off the snide and get clean coal factories up and running again. Disconcerting as it may be the truth is out three so for many true believers of global warming I am about to shock you, here it is, ‘the average temperature on Earth has remained fixed or slowly declined during the past decade, and this is scientifically proven. So despite the continued increase in the atmospheric carbon dioxide the greenhouse phenomena is being put to pasture along with the Easter bunny, Santa Claus, and the Pet Rock.

The global temperature is falling gently and more and more scientists are agreeing that global warming has stopped and a cooling phase has now been started. So American politicians you need to do two things, first you need to resolve our oil problems by drilling in Alaska and providing oil for Americans. Secondly, you need to get clean coal power plants back on the hot list of new buildings to create so that America is powered into the future. Once our oil issues and coal issues have been addressed then we need to start working on alternative energy and renewable energy but for now we just need reasonable energy or soon single parents won’t be able to feed their children and that is a fact much more real and observable than global warming.

How about lets create some domestic jobs and eliminate foreign oil dependence.

For all of those idiots who said ‘so what’ in regards to not finding WMD’s, here is the so what, American credibility is being questioned by idiotic Syrian representatives throughout the world. These idiots have been caught red-handed and yet rather than admit they were caught they are referring to George Bush as the boy who called wolf before and is doing it again. So for all of those idiots who said ‘well we did not find WMD’s but we did remove Saddam Hussein’ you now understand the idiocy of your statement. The White House and the CIA told Washington lawmakers Thursday that North Korea helped Syria build a nuclear reactor at a site which was destroyed by an Israeli air raid in September of 2007. Well there is even more proof of the Syrian nuclear site than all of the WMD evidence for the Iraqi invasion, America cannot help but stand there with the red-ass every time some yahoo Syrian jibber-jabber grabs a microphone and looks into the camera and says that the world has seen this rhetoric before in regards to Iraq and that this case is even more absurd. Even though these idiots have been caught red-handed and they even bull-dozed the site where the building stood, they still are trying to assume the high ground and call America’s judgment into question and this again reiterates why just removing Saddam Hussein was not enough, we needed to find the Weapons of Mass destruction and we did not and our persistent stay in Iraq will only make more idiots come out of the woodwork to question America and its correctness.

Washington addressed the International Atomic Energy Agency with allegations that Damascus violated its nuclear obligations under the 1970 Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty but with Syria referring to the President who cried wolf the IAEA will be slow to react. Sure Congressional politicians accused Syria of potentially criminal behavior but Syria flatly denied any covert nuclear weapons program and they just pointed a finger back at American legislators and said that just like the Iraqi information, this information is fallible as well. Reportedly Washington power players have seen a video presentation that includes photographs of the nuclear facility and other overwhelming evidence but with America’s previous actions being called up it makes for a very slow and frustrating go. Reportedly the destroyed facility had a reactor which could have produced plutonium for nuclear weapons, but the reactor was destroyed by Israel before it ever began to function. Syria will continue to denounce the charges with its emissaries and ambassador trying to link the nuclear evidence to Washington’s weapons-of-mass-destruction case for invading Iraq. This accusation comes at a time when the six-country diplomatic efforts to get North Korea to come clean on its nuclear and proliferation activities is at a head. Pete Hoekstra wants Pyongyang to answer the US allegations of their nuclear activity before they are removed from a blacklist of state sponsors of terrorism. Hoekstra stated, “ We would expect to have good, clear, verifiable information from the countries that are involved before steps like that would be taken by the administration. “

On top of the economy, job losses, and an energy issue, we now have this mess. I sure hope the next president gets America back on track and respected to a point where our integrity cannot be questioned by idiots and liars.

When the starving and poor come looking for money and food who do you think they will look for, not their poor or struggling neighbors, they will hit the heights and upper class suburbs, so if the rich think they are safe from the poor and struggling middle class they better think again. Globalization equals inflation, say it with me, globalization equals inflation. We have been browbeaten by Big Business and Corporate America telling us that we must be international to survive, or to be competitive. However, what they are really saying is hey idiot, we are stupider than you and we have lost our ability to be competitive so all we can do is hope to be the cheapest and that means outsourcing your job. However, what the idiotic CEO’s forgot was that as they outsourced to developing areas they caused stress on global resources and this causes inflation and worse in some areas.

And in case you think that you are immune from inflation because you make a good living now you better think again. How long before unemployed Joe turns desperate to feed his family? When unemployed Joe turns desperate he will not go through his most likely poor neighborhood, he will instead drive a few extras miles and hit the upper class suburbs and he will start to break and enter or carjack or hold up the so-called rich bitches, the ones who have caused Joe to the brink of starvation because of their needless profiting on oil futures, outsourcing, and other traitorous actions. Most laughed last week when Ted Turner advised that soon we would be living like cannibals and just striving to survive. However, he who laughed first is now the idiot because look at the food riots in Egypt, Haiti, Bangladesh, and Indonesia. These areas are now in civil unrest because of lack of affordable food and more and more areas are slowly reaching chaotic levels as well. See Corporations want to develop and conquer the world but what they are forgetting is that the world does not have a limitless amount of resources and you can forget about the hazards of global warming because soon global starvation and over development will ravage the Earth and there may not be humans around to worry.

Desperate times create desperate people who create desperate nations and one of these desperate nations may end up in a war with a nuclear nation which could result in a nuclear war and then these cowardice outsourcing CEO’s can see their true fruits of their labors. The bastards profiting off of outsourcing cannot hide from the poor and starving in America and they know what you don’t, the fact that they cannot go to where they have outsourced your jobs because Americas dirty little corporate secret is that most jobs outsourced to India are in areas where Americans are targeted for termination on site. So if American politicians want to keep America a great and civil place they better figure out a way to keep corporate America keeping Americans working or else soon the desperate poor and struggling middle calls will be out hunting like wolves and today’s rich will be tomorrows victims, believe it or don’t but wait and see.

Say it with me again, Globalization equals inflation, say it with me, globalization equals inflation.

Why do we look for linear correlation in places there are none? If we fell yesterday does it mean we will fall today and tomorrow? If our grandfather was a thief does it mean our dad was and we will be also? Well this is the idiotic type of logic we use to address things unrelated and now we are doing this in regards to the economy and our American future and even worse, our planets future. The world is just not big enough for globalization, and a global economy, and if you don’t believe me then just consider the Olympics in China, or the more severe issue of food and water shortages occurring throughout the world. Lets begin with China, see being green is not the answer to environmental concerns and global warming fears, it is a band-aide on a much to big sore, the problem is the Earth cannot support tens of industrialized nations all cranking out by-products and emissions no matter how green we try to be.

You have China stating that their Beijing environmental officials will implement a series of temporary measures to stop construction and close heavy industries so they can attempt to clean the city’s disgracefully polluted air when the Olympics open their in August. Reportedly Beijings’ Environmental Protection Bureau will halt all digging and pouring of concrete on construction sites from July through September as well as shut down numerous factories and steel mills as a way to try and eliminate the horrendous amount of normal pollution which occurs. Officials are expected to ban almost all of Beijing’s 3.3 million vehicles during the Olympics. Reportedly numerous other provinces and municipalities surrounding Beijing will also be halting factories. The steps are being taken because Beijing is one of the world’s most polluted cities and they do not want to showcase this to the world during the Olympics. Usually deadly levels carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide and nitrogen dioxide float above Beijing at levels five times higher than World Health Organizations safety standards and this is the problem, add New York, Mexico City, Pune, Tokyo and numerous other big cities and then throw in all the emerging big cities in previously undeveloped areas and you can see that the world has a crisis. Now if the pollution and dangerous chemicals do not kill us the starvation might. Riots are occurring not just is Haiti any longer, but also in India, Bangladesh, Africa, and Egypt because of the soaring costs of basic foods.

We all are aware that there appears not to be enough oil in the world, but now the salmon are disappearing, smelt runs are lessening, duck and goose counts are down, and droughts are affecting growers throughout the world, and you add all this up and it lets you know that the world must take a breadth and globally slow down and think out its global strategy or we will all perish together. There are riots all over the world and not just in the poor countries but in developing countries and in some areas of our own United States. If we do not enact some protectionism in America we will be vulnerable to tragedies effecting countries throughout the world. America has worked hard to get where it is, we should not allow it to be taken so easily or destroyed so sloppily.

While our 2008 Presidential candidates grammatically snipe at each other our great country is hurting.

The problem with the Detroit Tigers is a microcosm of the problems facing all of us as Americans. See here in Detroit we have the second highest paid team in baseball and much like our politicians in America; we have the best paid players in the game. However, much like our politicians we here in Detroit are getting little bang for our buck, the team was supposed to bring winning to our state and we have nothing of the sort, much like the politicians who recently got elected. Similarly, the organization running the Tigers says that losing all of the games right now is not bad because it means that the chances of a win will improve, doesn’t this sound just like the bs political thinking we are being asked to swallow? How can losing at anything ever be better than winning? I think only a real loser believes that losing improves you in any way whatsoever. Much like politicians we have high priced Detroit Tiger players talking to the media and saying they have little concern for how things are currently going and they hold the fans comments in little or no regard, does this not sound like Washington telling Americans that despite the polls America is on the right track and we really should be in America and that Free Trade is good for American workers but they just don’t know it.

How can the Detroit Tigers say that losing is nothing and we should continue to pay them for high priced tickets even though we are not getting the winning results, well politicians do the same when they raise our taxes and lower our civil services don’t they? Yeah baseball is just a game and the ball players are just playing the game but they are a business as well, and we pay for their product and how dare they say that providing us with an inferior product is acceptable, but then again they see the high priced politicians get away with it so why can’t they? You should not settle for the short end of the stick just as Tiger fans should not settle for losing. Just like we quit buying losing teams baseball tickets we should also consider stopping support for Democrats and Republicans who do nothing to justify their high price salaries. I bet you don’t know how much your baseball teams players make and similarly you probably have no idea how much your states elected politicians make. However, Detroit Tiger baseball players take ytour money and so do politicians and you deserve better from both. You deserve a winning Tiger team in Detroit and you deserve winning politicians in Washington who protect your jobs and provide you with security and civil services. It’s time you get off the bench and into the game, make your team and your politicians win for you, BATTER Up.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has balls, big balls, she is stepping up and saying what everyone with a conscience and soul should be saying, ‘Boycott China’ or at least their Olympics. She clarified her statement by saying that she does not want the United States to boycott the Beijing Olympics but that President Bush should consider skipping the opening ceremony. In a world were we all turn the other way because we want Chinese business, speaker Nancy Pelosi stood up and did the right thing and this is not the first time she has done this but it is one of the most important times and when you couple this with her stand on the Democratic election and super-delegates issues you see that maybe the wrong woman is running for President, maybe it should be Nancy Pelosi instead.

So many times we stand and watch China sell us lead tainted toys, poisonous medicine, unsafe products, and various other border-line criminal things and we do nothing because no one wants to ruin their chances of doing business in or with China, well isn’t this a little like selling your soul to the devil? Well I applaud Nancy Pelosi for stepping up and claiming back some of our humanity, especially when it comes to China. She previously stated that we cannot act holier than thou on human rights if we do not address the human rights concerns of China immediately and I agree with her. In a recent trip to Dharmasala, India, which is home to the Dalai Lama’s displaced Tibetan government, Speaker Nancy Pelosi stated, “ If freedom-loving people don’t speak out against China’s oppression of people in Tibet, we have lost all moral authority to speak out against any oppressed people.” Speaker Pelosi went on to say, “I think boycotting the opening ceremony, which really gives respect to the Chinese government, is something that should be kept on the table…I think the president might want to rethink this later, depending on what other heads of state do.” This is in addition to numerous Olympic athletes declaring they will boycott China, along with the decision by German Chancellor Angela Merkel, and French officials who have already announced they will not attend the Olympic Games. Its time we stand up to China and not acquiesce to their race to the bottom mentality, or strategy. We must support Tibet, the site of recent crackdowns on human rights demonstrators by the Chinese government. We must also consider the state of democracy in China along with the inhumane working conditions in China. We should not let China have a free ride on global pollution and human rights issues when we hold other countries to such high standards. It’s time we quit acting like hypocrites and more like humans, its time we support people like Nancy Pelosi and her ideals on this issue.

At the rate oil is going up hell might just freeze over or at least the devil may be turning down the heat. Is this the despair I a working Middle Class citizen is to endure the rest of my life, the angst of gas prices. If the stock market and economy are down I get screwed because the rich people put their money in oil futures and thus the price of gas goes higher. And then if the economy goes higher I get screwed again because then the use and consumption supposedly goes up and again the price of gas rises for me.

Most Middle Class workers like myself cannot afford to buy oil futures in the commodities market and therefore we get taken by the rich who could care less about high gas prices because they are hedged by their ownership of oil futures. The oil futures market has become the new legal pyramid scam for the globally rich who are putting it to the globally Poor and Middle Class. How can something so vital be manipulated for profit so easily and maliciously? What can be done about it, are we to eventually become indentured servants because we have to drive our cars to work or to the hospital? Please tell me there is some form of sanity that will eventually prevail. OPEC lives by the protection American Armed Forces provides for them, all but Valenzuela, and yet America sees none of the benefit.

Maybe we need to pull our forces back and let things play out as they may in the Middle East, or do as OPEC, raise the cost of protection to match the rise in oil prices and send this additional money back to Americans as a subsidy to off-set the gas-gouging occurring. I know that the OPEC members say they do not control gas prices but if they sent out a few months of relief that would screw the pyramid investors and cause the oil markets to regulate and return to their rightful levels.

However, we have rich oil companies getting richer, rich OPEC members getting richer, and we have rich investors getting richer, the only ones losing on this is me and you, the average American citizens, and who really cares about us? I say exit the Middle East and Central America and let these areas fend for themselves as we put all of our resources into Ethanol fuel and Alaskan oil. BTW, who is our energy administrator and why isn’t this person fired yet?

I hope the next President does more for American energy costs. This problem is worse than you think and it needs to be addressed immediately before society turns on its head.

What can be done?
