While most people think the President did a swell job during last night’s State of the Union address, I think the President left out a few key issues that should have been addressed:

Congress Denied Bush War Powers in U.S.
Well if President Bush isn’t in enough hot water already, he may have more to worry about now. Based on information from Congress and the Justice Department, President Bush was not given authority to perform warrant-less domestic spy activities.
Bush Admits to Domestic Spying - “Will Continue to Do So”
Here is further evidence that President Bush is willing to sacrifice American civil liberties to further exercise his “authority” on terrorism. While Americans trust the President to protect them (at least 51% of them), Bush signs over 30 secret orders authorizing the National Security Agency (NSA) to eavesdrop on American citizens.
