I assure you that taxing peopel who work in your city is a cowardly wayto cover up for political mistakes. Certain cities are now taking the cowardly step of trying to sneak in a tax on workers within their city limits because their precious city is running out of money. Well I say let the city ask the county, let the county ask the state and let the state ask the Government. It amazes me that government allows the outsourcing of our jobs by having favorable importing legislation and then they, as well as local communities, punish those of us who are still lucky enough to be working domestically because they ( Our fine government leaders) did not consider that allowing outsourcing and importing would reduce their tax coffers. One would think that in the educated country of the United States this would have been thought out but obviously it has not been and now for the past several years of my life I have been arguing with academia that outsourcing and importing will do nothing but erode our tax base and cause financial hardship and now this egg has hatched and guess who has egg all over their face? However, consider that while arguing was told I was close-minded, xenophobic, borderline protectionist, and just plain wrong. Well my house is in order, my budgets are met, and what of government leaders whose states are now hurting because they allow big business to influence them to pass legislation favoring outsourcing and importing. I say reduce government and tell them to enact legislation that encourages domestic creation which will then grow their revenue bases for taxes don’t let them just keep taxing us for their mistakes. I have said it a hundred times over in the past year when this type of discussion comes up, I say maybe we should ask China and India for their portion because they sell their goods here. If you are going to tax me because I drive into your city to work then you better tax China and India for their portion of sold goods in your city because that is the same thing and unless you want to be sued or discrimination I would think again
