Three cheers for senior senators, Carl Levin, Democrat of Michigan, and John W. Warner, Republican of Virginia, and on Tuesday they were quick to express strong dissatisfaction over the disparity between American spending on reconstruction and the amount being spent by Iraq itself. It’s time this war end and it’s time it ends now. Consider this, the soaring oil prices will leave the Iraqi government with a budget surplus of as much as $79 billion by the end of this year according to an American federal oversight agency and in contrast the united States is on pace to see the world record for federal deficit and we both know why, that’s right, IRAQ. It is retarded that America goes in the red helping out a country that is hoarding its own cash while bankrupting America. The United States has paid over $48 billion in just rebuilding efforts in Iraq and this does not include other pet projects and war efforts. We are even rebuilding the oil infrastructure that Iraq is turning around and selling at a huge profit and much of the oil is sold at the premium prices we are having to deal with. How can this be? What is going on and when will it stop? I say vote for anyone who says they will end this idiotic war.
