Well the so-called financial professional’s debate whether we are in a recession, depression, or a bad patch the majority of Americans sit and wait and wonder if they will be tapped on the shoulder next week and their job eliminated. The problem with energy as well as the weak economy is one simple fact, OUTSOURCING. Stupid idiotic CEO’s thought that if they snuck jobs out of the country no one would notice and somehow by magic Americans would continue to buy their thousand dollar product now being made by dollar a day help. However, what these idiots forgot was that if you lay off a five hundred dollar a week employee he can no longer afford to buy your thousand dollar product. In addition, the dollar a day guy would have to work for almost four years straight to buy just one product item and that would be if he bought nothing else. So now we have no jobs, no product sales, and a failing economy. Someone needs to tell the idiots that if they pay us to build it we will buy it but if they don’t then we won’t. Additionally, the high price of fuel is also caused by the spreading and thinning of the economy. Now rather than make the items in a few areas we are spread out throughout the world and we are now using ten times more energy to export items back to where they used to get made. This has jacked up energy costs and created a gigantic pollution problem that everyone looks to pin on the US but neglects the number one carbon emitter which is China and the fastest growing carbon emitter which is India. If politicians want to really solve the energy crisis, the job crisis, and the pollution crisis they would do one thing. Enact legislation that keeps jobs in America. Let India build and sell in India, let China build and sell in China, and let the United States build and sell in America. This solves all of the problems except one, corporate greed which is the real problem which is lying beneath all of these issues. Trust me, you better only vote for the politicians who will keep your job here in America or soon you will be living like the third world people that used to only be shown on late night television.
