A Weak Domestic Economy Makes For A Weak Country

The effect of a weak economy is that you become a weak country and a weak country results in a leader who appears weak and this is what happened in Saudi Arabia when President Bush urged the Saudi’s to release more oil for production and they responded with a resounding “NO.” Americans aren’t used to that but if America does not protect itself and keep Americans working more and more policy will be set globally by China and India and they will be the ones dictating what goes on and when it occurs so if you think the policies of those two countries are great then sit back and get ready but if you feel you want more out of life and a better opportunity to enjoy life then you better get on the ball and get active in making sure America stays an economic power to be reckoned with. Rising oil prices are just one issue that makes me disgusted in the so called great global economy. However, during President Bush’ discussion on oil a unique event occurred which prompts me top believe the price of oil is a legalized pyramid scam for the global rich, the Saudis said they would increase production if customers demanded it but right now they say there is not a demand, matter of fact they said the market is kind of weak so this leads me to the truth which is that rich people worldwide are using the oil futures as a legitimized pyramid scam to turn their investments into even more riches while the poor and middle class get devastated.

Saudi Arabia is in line with what and many economists have already said and I believe as well, we are all saying that the high prices are a result of market speculation and manipulation and the weak dollar. To back up my statement all you have to do is listen to the statement from Saudi Arabia’s minister of petroleum and mineral resources Ali al-Naimi, Ali stated, “We will raise production when the market justifies it. This is our policy…Our interest is to hopefully keep supply matching demand with minimum volatility in the international oil market.” And there you have it. A weak economy results in a desperate looking President which results in a resounding ‘No.” However, do not fear, President Bush is not changing as he continues to worry about foreigners above Americans by continuing to make promises to Saudi Arabia about American assistance for Saudi nuclear power.
