What Price For American Lives Will We Tolerate?

How low can you go, it used to be a mamba line but not it has become a way of life. Poison toothpaste; lead tainted toys, faulty pipes, and now the Chinese are again being accused of killing Americans. Chinese officials voiced doubts that an impurity identified in a blood thinner called heparin was the source cause of severe allergic reactions in hundreds of Americans but public opinion is saying that when you look at their track record in association with their track record of denial it sure makes a strong case for potential correlation. The Food and Drug Administration is reportedly stating that over 60 deaths are associated with allergic-style reactions to alleged contaminated batches of heparin. The Food and Drug Administration told the company has reportedly advised the Chinese manufacturer of the deadly heparin ingredient that by standards they do not have adequate systems for ensuring that the raw materials they use are safe and that any impurities are removed. In response, Chinese officials suggested during an embassy news conference that the problem with the drug could have occurred in the United States, they went as far as to say that, “ When you see it, then you believe it.” This was a quote from Jin Shaohong, the deputy director general for the National Institute for the Control of Pharmaceutical and Biological Products in China. Is that how our country will protect us? Have we decided to sell out our fellow human for the chance at cheap Chinese imports?

Just what will it take for America to see that they price they pay for cheap products is costing them their livelihood, their lives, and for some high-priced CEO’s their souls. Kathy Lee Gifford was demonized for sweatshop labor several years ago but now every one of us wears something made from a sweatshop in some Indo-Chinese or Central American sweatshop, child labor, slave labor, female labor, do we even care anymore?

If Republicans are the ones so linked to religion and religious people make morally right decisions, then why is there so much business being done with a certain Asian country which is now the number one polluter in the world who also has an atrocious human rights record?  If the religious rights are running the country then why are we doing so much business in India where Christian persecution occurs more than nay other place in the world, with maybe the unofficial exception of modern Iraq? Have all fo the blue bloods sold their souls for a little green? Are they moral o nthe outside but immoral on the inside? If not then why, how, let them explain on Indo-China flaunts moral rights and persecutes humans for simple beliefs with no one speaking out against them? Has anyone noticed the amount of data theft and identity theft now occurring throughout America and has anyone noticed that this really started to become a problem as we outsourced information technology work to India and parts of Mexico? Now we are importing cheaply made products from various parts of the Asian world which are now threatening our own mortality and yet still nothing is being done. Just what will it take? Will a mass epidemic of deaths be enough to get your attention? Do you personally have to lose a loved one before you will give deadly imports a second thought? Just what will it take? What price do Americans have to pay before Asian countries are held liable or blacklisted from doing business in America? Just what is the price before the world demands a change? Or have the souls already been given to the devil?
