Clean coal is the answer to Americans’ energy issues and if you think any different you may be the exact type of idiot that is leading to the demise of America. We must do all we can to keep energy clean and clean coal is the key to this initiative and the only ones saying otherwise are the gigantic oil magnates who don’t want coal muscling in on their territory. This is the same tactic as employed by cigarette lobbyists who are the biggest contributors to legislators who address legalizing marijuana debates. How dare any corporate CEO tell an employee to be more green when every CEO in America is doing all it can to cozy up to the worlds number one polluter, China. Yeah, yeah, we hear all the time how we have to be more environmentally conscious but where is this great conscience when it comes to China and parts of India polluting the world? Every corporation wants to be the next Alexander the Great and try to conquer the world but just like Alexander everyone will fail. Corporate America wants into China so bad it is willing to make deals with the devil to get a sniff of the country but All China does is dangle the carrot and never delivers the market and meanwhile the high priests of the floral and fauna are selling their green souls to negotiate. This is not a rant against China; I actually have no problem with China. However, what I do have a problem with is holier than thou corporations who run commercials on television touting their greenness all the while they are doing tons of business in China with companies who are negating any and all green initiatives throughout the world. Then you also have the green and blue environmental bag toting shoppers who look at plastic bag shoppers with disgust, well these same shoppers are filling their bags with Chinese products made in areas where pollution is ten times the acceptable world health organizations standards and the by-products of their purchases are poisoning the people who live by the factories.
What I am saying is why we are so against America supporting itself with energy because of our environmental conscience yet we do nothing to address China and Chinese pollution and the fact that millions in China live in and around facilities associated with product production which is resulting in mass pollution and poisoning of the environment and the people. But don’t worry, corporate America, and even most Americans, doesn’t want to make the effort to address this, they would rather soothe their own conscience by talking about things that are not the problem like turning off the lights, recycling paper, and seeking alternatives to coal.
