The Detroit Tigers are 2 and 10 and yet many say that is a good thing because they would rather lose now than later in the season, these are the same idiots who say that the American economy will rebound astoundingly in 2009. Can someone, anyone, tell me the correlation between losing and eventually coming out further ahead than you would have had you been a winner all along? Detroit Tiger fans are much like American citizens, they swallow the company line and like sheep to the slaughter they are walking right into the slaughterhouse that is the global economy. Let me enlighten our avid readers, it is always better to be a winner than a loser in any situation. The Tigers have lost 10 games not because it is better for them but because they have not done what they are paid to which is win for the team. In much the same fashion as the Tigers, our current elected politicians, both Democrats and Republicans, are not winning for the home team that is America. Allowing unfair trade with China, unfair trade with India, and an azz-raping by NAFTA, debt ownership in a ridiculous amount to China, and many other atrocities, are all losing ways and actions which has put America in the precarious position it is now in. Do not listen to the political rhetoric of an election year, do not be fooled into thinking that 2009 will be any different than 2007 or 2008, why should it have you been explained to as to why it will? You need to be a more informed and educated voter and citizen and you need to do this immediately. America is being sold out by so-called American companies who close American plants for outsourced and overseas labor and they ship products back into the country with tax breaks.
In addition you also have Washington politicians being bought and sold by foreign lobbyists and this is destroying not only your future but your Childs as well. Its time you out your foot down and put the brakes on the American downslide that is occurring. We need to reinvest in American infrastructure, provide more domestic aid to poor areas in America, and figure out a taxation policy which makes building and creating in America much more advantageous than to import or produce elsewhere.
