Here is a fact neither Republicans or Democrats can argue on Meet The Press, 1 in 99 American citizens are incarcerated and this is much more troubling than Al-Qaeda in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, or anywhere else. While Republicans strongly defend fighting radicalism around the globe they are creating it right here in the united States.
How may you ask? Well how many incarcerated criminals return to society and attain a working living? When a criminal is paroled he most likely has nowhere to turn but a life of crime and this usually results in a path to violent crime and this results in the very destabilization of society on which the war on terror is based so while we may be fighting one war overseas we are incubating another at home. Al-Qaeda in Iraq, or Afghanistan, is not doing drive bys in Compton, home invasions in Chicago, senior citizen break-ins in Cincinnati, or carjacking in Detroit, Americans are and who are these Americans? They are the ones who can’t find a job or who have lost their jobs to outsourced manufacturing or off-shored office work.
A much bigger problem than Al-Qaeda, or the Taliban, is the amount of unemployed Americans who have a lot of energy and a high aspiration but no job to apply their energy to. These individuals soon turn to gang affiliation such as the Latin Kings, M-12, Bloods, Crips, etc…al. Gangs are offering employment opportunities and they advise their workers that their jobs will never be outsourced or off-shored and in truth they are more honest to their workers than 80% of Big Business.
Gangs do not use words like strategic alliance, outsourcing alternatives, off-shoring association, they show their workers dedication and allegiance and this is why the gang culture in America is so appealing to so many now looking for a form of stability and allegiance. America is so acquiescent to Big Business that it is allowing the fabric of our society to be unwoven and destabilized through so called early buy-outs and outsourcing.
Today it is simply drug gangs but how much longer before terrorist groups start to come to America not to perform heinous crimes but to offer Americans a way to a so-called better life for themselves. How long before Al-Qaeda in Iraq or the Taliban send recruiters to America and offer them good paying jobs and job advancement opportunities? You may think this is a radical way of thinking but desperate people take desperate measures and an out of work family of five auto-worker in New York may be very willing to change allegiances if he\she feels America offers no future for them.
The big problem Republicans and Democrats do not understand is that when citizens of a country do not work the fabric of that society begins to unwind and when this occurs the have-nots do whatever they can to take from the haves. Soon unemployed autoworkers are gang-banging and following executives back to their suburban homes to rob from the rich and give back to the poor.
When a poor family cannot feed itself where do you think they will turn? Radicalism offers a way out in the Middle East and that is how they won the allegiance of the poor and helpless and if we allow America to continue to have high unemployment and joblessness we will soon have an environment which will bring these bastards to our country to try the same. Sure the war on terror is important but we must make sure we do not lose the war at home first. Keep Americans working and keep us doing to good for any American to listen to the idi-ocracy of radicalism.
I hope the next elected President understands this and gets America back on track. Only idiots call protecting the jobs of America protectionism, these are the same idiot CEO’s who want you to just lay down and die when it comes to outsourcing and off-shoring, do not do it for them.
Will you make a difference?
