Global Issues Do Affect American Virtues And Lifestyles

A top Saudi blogger has been locked in a Saudi jail since late last year and he still remains in prison based on unspecified, non-security matters. China has blocked Google and Altavista and redirected their search engines to lead to false or misleading WebPages, they have also talked search engines into revealing the identities of those who are searching for terms the government does not want them looking for.

Then you have India which is the number one persecutor of Christians in the world along with a reputation for still having a caste system in place along with a brutal police force which carries out vigilante type justice whenever it feels like it. Why are these things important to us as Americans? It’s because China and Saudi Arabia are buying up domestic American property and businesses at an alarming rate and eventually they will begin imposing their practices and nuances on us in America.

Then you have India which has thrown the whole world into chaos with its slave and child labor forces and its perpetuance for making woman and children work 18 hour days with no regard for rest or nutrition. Why does America tolerate these behaviors by foreign countries doing business with America, well we don’t but we rely on our politicians to hold these countries responsible and the sad thing is that many of our politicians are bought and sold by lobbyists from companies benefiting from these foreign illegal and immoral type practices so when a stink gets raised the lobbyists just up the ante and the politician drops the issue.

The Saudi government has been extremely quiet about the detention of Fouad al-Farhan, a 32-year-old father of two who is commonly known as the “Dean of Saudi Bloggers.” Al-Farhan was arrested in December immediately after one of his blog entries was critical of influential Saudi religious and business figures. However, the Saudi government just dismisses inquisitions and they go on about their business.

China has never answered about their manipulation of search engines which was done to make sure that unflattering remarks about their government are not read by domestic Chinese citizens. And we all know about the atrocities which go on in India and the child slave labor issues. Today these problems are occurring in other countries but these countries are taking American jobs and buying American businesses and without a strong domestic America this will continue to happen.

We need to hold our politicians up to a higher standard and make sure they protect us from predatory global practices and we must also hold Big Business more accountable and punish them for doing business with immoral and illegal countries. You may not think it is your problem today but if you neglect this issue it will soon be.

The next President better address these issues and you better as well.
