China, Cuba, An American Double Standard

Can someone tell me why Cuba has an embargo when we have normalized relations with China and Vietnam, both of which are much more communist ran than Cuba? Additionally China and Vietnam are also way worse human rights abusers as well as global polluters. We even had China dumping lead based toys into our country with no concern for the damage it would do to American children. How can we allow normalized relations with a company that shuts down its version of Google or redirect the search engines so that free speech and attainment of knowledge is not allowed? How can we have normalized relations with a country where slave labor is maintained and child labor is encouraged?

I just don’t understand the double standard, is it because China buys American lobbyists and Cuba cannot? Are Americans being bought and sold by Chinese lobbyists? I just want to know why we criticize some countries and let others off with little or no concern. I think China has been rated the highest security risk to America the past few years but Chinese lobbyists along with corporate America has made Washington politicians sell out America for the almighty Yuan. We must also remember that China dangles business in the face of corporate America but it never really delivers and in the end corporate America is being used and abused just like the average American citizens.

These Big businesses think they will be the one to corner the market in China but they are wrong, ooh so wrong. China will never let a foreign country reign supreme in their country and all they do is dangle the carrot to make American businesses dance. It’s time we reassess free trade and normalized relations. It’s time we no longer see burning American flags abroad and burning embassies, and these are burnt for no other reason other than Big business pushes American interest into areas that they want armed protection and this should just not be.

If big business wants to sell America out then let them protect themselves. All we do anymore is globally plow the field so that American Big Business can move in and sell out domestic American workers for the pursuit of cheap labor and foreign sales. Its time domestic America takes care of itself and makes sure the economic global playing field is level. No more double standards, China, Vietnam, and India should be held to the same standard as all of the rest of the world.

What do you think? Let’s hope the next President elected holds countries to higher standards.

It’s pretty simple actually. China is the new social model. One child policy. Military Justice. No free speech, state approved religion. Cuba on the other hand is very Christian, pretty much kicked out the world bank, prints its own money and has zero debt to banks. Funny how you can trace all back to money and debt
