Read this first and then again at the end: We could have created numerous jobs for construction and plant workers and we could have helped ourselves reduce our dependency on foreign oil, doesn’t this just make too much sense?
For all for those idiots who want America to shut down the power stations and quit utilizing coal, remember the majority of the idiots out there who control the oil are vastly hostile towards the United States and the less energy we create for ourselves is the more power and money we give to those hostile idiots. You also need to remember that some of these idiots are in our hemisphere and the more you give them the more they will take from you. Case in point, Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez just this week threatened to cut off oil sales to the United States if Exxon Mobil Corporation wins their legitimate court case against the Government of Valenzuela based on Valenzuela’s forced takeover of Exxon’s business in that area. The court settlement will allow Exxon the right to seize billions of dollars in Venezuelan assets if Exxon wins. Chavez stated, “If you end up freezing Venezuelan assets and it harms us, we’re going to harm you…Do you know how? We aren’t going to send oil to the United States. Take note, Mr. Bush, Mr. Danger.” Is this the type of idiot you tree-hugger wannabe types want to empower? Sure we all want emissions reduced but can we really put our countries future in the hands of megalomaniac types like Hugo Chavez? We also must remember that clean coal burning technology is far advanced and that America is far superior to all other countries which many of whom have no emissions controls whatsoever. Why should America stop while others pour on and pollute a hundred times worse? Stop emissions in India, China, and many smaller Asian and Central American countries and then I will listen to the tree-hugger wannabe types. Sure we all want a better environment but the world does not know or care if the pollution comes from America or Ecuador, from India or China, pollution has to stop everywhere and not just America. People like Chavez will hold America hostage if they let him and this cannot be allowed. Exxon Mobil has gone after the assets of Venezuela’s state oil company, Petroleos de Venezuela SA, based on the nationalization of a multibillion dollar oil project by Venezuela’s government last year. This idiot has tried to take his country from a democracy to a total communist style country and he has taken over numerous businesses and thrown out their owners and replaced them with government officials. Chavez has repeatedly threatened to cut off oil shipments to the United States even though the United States is their number one customer for oil. Chavez went as far as to threaten America by stating, “If the economic war continues against Venezuela, the price of oil is going to reach $200 (a barrel) and Venezuela will join the economic war…And more than one country is willing to accompany us in the economic war.” I blame our politicians for not making better use of our domestic policies to make us more independent of foreign oil. Rather than give us a few hundred to spend on whatever they could have taken this $150 billion and created numerous jobs by giving this money to projects that are erecting ethanol plants for energy use. We could have created numerous jobs for construction and plant workers and we could have helped ourselves reduce our dependency on foreign oil, doesn’t this just make too much sense?
What will you do? I hope the 2008 President has good energy policies and puts Americas’ needs first.
