2008 Presidential Candidates Need To Address American Issues

GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney has stepped up and stated he would reduce federal highway funds to any state that issued driver’s licenses to illegal immigrants. It’s about time a 2008 Presidential candidate stood up to a real issue. The Presidential hopeful went so far as to call New York City a “sanctuary city,” and saying that if he were President he would reduce federal funding to cities known as harbors for illegal immigrants. Romney also promised that if elected president he would push to have the United States entirely independent of foreign oil within 20 years. Now these are issues we need addressed, American issues, not African, Iranian, or Middle Eastern. We are getting hammered by job losses based on outsourcing and jobsourcing and our own cities are being devastated. Detroit Michigan is number one on the list of most dangerous U.S. cities and Flint Michigan is number three, you know why? It’s because these two cities used to be at the forefront of American manufacturing but as the so called’ jobs of yesterday or as President Bush called them ‘Jobs Americans won’t do’ have went away, so have our ability to provide for our families. We need more Presidential promises like that of candidate Romney, tell me how you will fix America. Look at Cleveland. Homeowners’ neighborhoods have been devastated by the flourish of foreclosures in Cleveland’s working-class neighborhood of Slavic Village because of the loss of so many manufacturing jobs at such a rapid rate. Because so many manufacturing jobs have been lost there is now a rampant crime problem in and around Cleveland. What is the solution proposed by the Bush Administration? Let’s give India our nuclear technology. Yeah, let’s put the nail in the coffin. We have given our manufacturing jobs to Mexico and China, our Information and clothing jobs to India, and our energy jobs to the Middle East, just what is left? It’s time our next President addresses our domestic needs and he\she needs to do it in a big way.

Let’s hear a lot more of how America will be rebuilt, reeducated, and most importantly employed. Let’s have frank and honest talk about how American can lead into the next century rather than listen to how Valenzuela and Iran are laughing at the current state of the American economy. In case you did not know, the two biggest idiotic leaders of our modern times leaders of Venezuela and Iran recently boasted that together they would be victorious over the United States and declaring that the fall of the U.S. dollar was a prelude to the end of American dominance in the world. These two are idiots but the sad state of America opens us to such criticism. Previously one could look at America and just shrug this type of rhetoric off but now many see America as vulnerable and covertly they wonder much like these two idiots. Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez paid a visit to Iranian leader Mahmoud Ahmadinejad as a sign of the strength of their friendship. The two idiots unsuccessfully tried over the weekend to push OPEC away from trading in the slumping dollar. The thought was not approved btu the fact it was considered shows that America needs to strengthen itself and they cannot do this by outsourcing and jobsourcing. Let’s get stronger again by domestic job creation and lets shut up idiots like these two throughout the world.
