China Is Stealing American Prosperity

A congressional advisory panel has stated that Chinese spying in America represents the greatest threat to U.S. technology now and in the coming years. The panel findings recommended that Washington should consider financing counterintelligence efforts in an effort to stop China from stealing valuable U.S. manufacturing expertise. Its bad enough we have Big Business bastards outsourcing their own mothers to China but now they are over here actually stealing our technology, give me a break. Findings by the U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission were conveyed to Congress and Congress was advised of how U.S. manufacturers are getting hammered by illegal Chinese practices and the commission reminded Congress that mid size and small manufacturing jobs represent more than half the manufacturing jobs in America. However, reportedly the Asian massage lobbyists were rumored to be waiting outside for the Congressmen and supposedly they were going to try and assuage via massage the situation. However, this is an unconfirmed rumor but in the way lobbyists do business in Washington it is not a too farfetched rumor is it? Back to confirmed reality, the Chinese spying issue is a grave threat to American prosperity. So for those who say we need to move on, we better remember where our bread is buttered and do something to protect these vital and crucial American jobs. Remember that it’s our ability to manufacture like a monster which has saved us during times of war and if we continue to outsource these jobs then who will build and protect us during times of war or disagreement? Do you think that if we have to protect Taiwan that China will continue to manufacture for us? We must not leave manufacturers in America alone and un-helped while they face the effects of China’s unfair trade practices, which include unsafe working conditions, currency manipulation, child labor violations, human rights violations, and illegal subsidies for Chinese exports. Its time someone in Washington stands up for America and does the right thing. Let’s have action and not outsourcing. Let’s do something for Americans and not Big Business America. China’s economic policies are a dire future for American workers and until the playing field is evened out it will always tip unfairly in China’s favor. Many say China is abusing the American-Chinese relationship and rather than moving towards a free economy they are moving farther away from one. Its time we reconsider the normalized trade relations with China and save America before it’s too late.

In regards to the spying accusations, China denied any spying activities. However, these are the same people who said that SAR’s was not occurring, the Bird Flu was a myth, Lead Poisoning never occurs, and contamination of rivers are not a fact, not to mention they tried to deny Tiananmen Square altogether. Rather than answer direct questions they cow tailed to Big Business by stating the importance of healthy economic ties with the United States. However, we can’t let them play this shell game of show and tell forever. China’s spies allow Chinese companies to cheat to get new technology without the expensive investment of research time and research money. Will we really allow Big Business to let us become the lab rats for a foreign country who has little or no allegiance to our own? Come one politician’s, we can do better than this can’t we?
