A Disgraceful Situation For Johnny The Homeless Vet

When Johnny comes marching home again, No Job, No Job, When Johnny comes marching home again, No Job. A sad song but an even sadder situation. We have lost so many jobs to outsourcing and job sourcing that even the proud Americans who went off to fight a war only a year or two ago have no job to go back and fill. It’s pretty pathetic that the same people these soldiers are going off to defend are the very ones who are turning tale on them and outsourcing their jobs while they are sacrificing life and limb to protect them. How disgraceful is it that veterans make up 25% of the homeless in America? This is disgusting, it is unacceptable.

Major studies are showing that the growing number of homeless are Iraq and Afghanistan veterans, it’s not like we are talking about Vietnam vets any longer, this is a crisis which is occurring much more rapidly than it did to the Vietnam Vets who also deserved better. Recent reports have shown that one out of four homeless are veterans, and a large portion of this homeless are made up of Iraq and Afghanistan veterans.

It’s sad enough we get rid of regular citizen jobs by outsourcing but to stoop so low as to eliminate a veteran who is away fighting for the very safety of the heartless bastard who outsourced his\her job, well that is just disgusting. However, when you consider that Americans now accept deadly lead toys for their children, deadly fish and poultry for thir families, and even tainted medicine and supplements, well you can see just how low of a class of humans we have become. We have lost our allegiance to America and now Big business appears to have replaced patriotism, it’s all about the bottom line and country and civility have lost their place in America.

It’s time we rally around this cause and get America back on track and right the wrongs and become a patriotic country once again who watches out for her own above any and all else. We need to slow down free trade, outsourcing, and importing, and we need to create American jobs and have Americans once again buy what they build and not what is outsourced or imported. We urge you to go to Arghh and let the brave men and woman who serve our Armed Forces know they are not forgotten.

It was recently reported that two VA hospitals in Florida were turning veterans away, because they were overwhelmed and out of resources. Somehow we have found the money to fund the war but not care for the Americans fighting it. This is a sad and disgusting situation and it needs to be a rallying cry for all Americans. We need our energy issue addressed, our unemployment issue addressed, our unsafe product issue addressed, and our veterans’ problem addressed.

There is no excuse for these issues not to be resolved immediately.
