Just how much of a melting pot does America really have to be before we add some more good ol meat and potatoes back to the American Stew? Now prepare to lose your appetite because what I am about to tell you may make you sick to your stomach. The congressionally mandated panel that promotes religious freedom in America is asking the Bush administration to close a Virginia based Islamic school that is owned and operated by the Saudi Arabian government because the Islamic school officials are not complying with demands by American officials to turn over textbooks that officials say may include lessons on jihad and intolerance toward other religions.
Mind you, I am all for becoming culturized but not when it comes to Islamic fundamentalism and Jihadism. Both of these terms reflect Islamic actions which have been hi-jacked terms commonly used as a way to justify racist hate crimes by intolerant narrow minded radical Muslims. Not all Muslims act in this manner but the conservative ones are not speaking out against the radical ones and this leads on to believe that even the conservatives support in even a small manner the actions of the radicals.
Remember this is a culture where a radicalized mother looks at glee at her 5 year old child whom she hopes will grow up to strap nails and spikes to their body and become a human shrapnel grenade one day in the hopes of killing a few innocent Jews or westerners.
A report released recently by the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom states, “Significant concerns remain about whether what is being taught at the (Islamic)school promotes religious intolerance and may adversely affect the interests of the United States.” The Islamic Saudi Academy in Northern Virginia has the heat on them to show they are not preaching religious intolerance and hatred and even violence. However, they have done nothing but play the ‘what, who me?’ game.
The mandated panel’s recent findings have led them to believe that Saudi texts in the Islamic school have encouraged violence toward others and that in order to safeguard the Islamic religion, the young Muslims must violently repress and eliminate others of non-Muslim belief. This story reminds me of the 2006 study conducted by The Center for Religious Freedom which found a ninth-grade Saudi textbook that taught teenagers that violence towards Jews, Christians and other unbelievers is endorsed by God. Ali Alyami, who is the executive director of the Center for Democracy and Human Rights in Saudi Arabia, stated that he has frustration over how the radicalized texts are being addressed by American officials.
Ali stated, “The present administration policy at this time is retreating to its habits prior to 9/11…This is this same institution that is feeding terrorism, hate toward this country and democracy, and that hasn’t changed…The fact remains the same. Freedom, religious freedom, is non-existent in Saudi Arabia.” Ali’s statements beg the question, “Why are we tolerating racism and hate speech in America which is being taught by a foreign power on our sovereign land? And why are we allowing children to be radicalized in our own country against our own country?”
There is no constitutional rights for this kind of education and expression, and therefore nowhere for the right for rights idiots on this one. How about we do the right think, WWLD, What would Lou Dobbs do? You know what he would do, the right thing.
What are you doing?
