Let’s Get Real About American Housing

There is a housing problem in America and all the politicians and federal officials can do to justify it is blame the problem on the loan companies. However, what they are failing to mention is that at the real root cause of the problem is the lack of work for the average American worker, in particular the middle class blue collar worker, in the domestic United States. We have a foreclosure problem because we have a labor market which is shrinking by the day because our own government is doing nothing to protect it.

Economists living in a fantasy world will say that the free economy of the United States is the model, well maybe someone needs to tell these idiots that China and India are blowing the doors off of the United States in the global economy and Central Latin America is not far behind. Countries throughout the world have limits on imports because they know they have to self sustain but big business in America has their lobbyists making sure that America does not do this. Big Business in America wants the protection of the United States but the ability to move jobs to Third World Countries to exploit cheap labor.

These companies have a grip on your government that is so strong that they almost had passed legislation that would have given port security of our American ports to a company based out of a country who is totally aligned with the militant and racist regimen of Iran. This government also says that we cannot stop the flow of illegal aliens into the country because it would hamper our economy, well why not, we have not barred lead imported toys and baby bibs and we have not taken legal action to punish Chinese companies who exported deadly products to Americans. How pathetic is it when we allow a toy company or a baby bib material company to poison our small children and we do nothing to stop them or punish them? Just how far down into our soul has Big Business reached and where is our backbone? We need legislation that protects us as a nation.

We also need limit legislation on imports much like China, Japan, India, and numerous countries in Europe have. Why should we lay spread wide open to be exploited by every Tom, Dick, and Harry and just lay there and take it. It’s time we pulled a Jodie Foster and fought back with a little balls. We need newly elected politicians in 2008 that will actually do something for Americans and not for those who want to exploit Americans. The Constitution provides us protection, now we need someone to enforce it.

Please remember, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
