Why Does The ACLU Have Such A Hate On For Christians?

Why does the ACLU have such an apparent hate on for Christians? The ACLU seems to target Christians above and beyond any other religious group in the United States. Lawsuits by the American Civil Liberties Union regarding Christian students who would like to say a prayer at their graduations, before class, or even after school on campus are continually affronted by the ACLU and the few who try to create Christians club in their schools are almost persecuted like they were one of the twelve original apostles. Christmas always finds the ACLU finding indications of the government’s supposed support of religion in Nativity scenes. The ACLU continuously regurgitates the separation clause of the First Amendment. Ironically though, the ACLU is extremely silent in regards to a University of Michigan Dearborn campus decision to install foot baths for Muslim students to wash their feet before prayer, there is also an extra recess period provided for Muslims in a unique San Diego school so that the Muslims can pray. The problem is that both of these schools receive government money and this is a definite violation. However, the ACLU is silent and their silence is deafening considering they rally up for much smaller offenses than this. One has to ask, why are Christians so persecuted and other religions allowed this type of religious support from Government institutions? The ACLU continuously states over and over that blatant religious symbols like crucifixes or the Ten Commandments are not legal, but Muslim foot baths and prayer rugs are not in this category. How can this be? Any Muslim can tell you that the foot baths and prayer rugs are symbols of the Islamic faith as much as the crucifixes and the Ten Commandments are signs of Christian faith. The Disc Jockeys at WRIF in Detroit have addressed this issue and no one on their airwaves has been able to justify this double standard, at least Drew and Mike stand up for Christians even though they are probably both not very devout worshippers themselves.

Can anyone tell me why Muslim foot baths and prayer rugs are acceptable but crucifixes and nativities are not?
