If you are interested, outsourcing has slowed but it has not stopped and the outsourcing to India and China is still costing thousands of Americans their jobs and one must ask, why should Americans the American Government lose out on so much commerce? Our President tells us to get educated but all of the educated and technical work is now being outsourced, the only good technical expertise appears to be is when you get sent over to India to train your replacements. Take for instance this one contract signed by an outsourcing firm in India, the contract is worth almost a billion and a half dollars, when is the last time we seen this type of news for an American company? This is not the only income American workers are losing out on, take a look at what India says will be a very hot market for the next few years. India has said that outsourcing income from just the technology field will generate between 8 to 10 billion dollars a year. How can America and its workers just ignore this type of lost job revenue? At least 2008 Presidential Candidate Bill Richardson has a plan for helping America and American workers out, I sure wish more politicians put as much thought into all of the lost jobs and income America has lost out on recently. There are ways to fight job losses based on outsourcing factors but America needs more than just self help, we Americans also need Government regulations much like China, Japan, and many other countries have. These countries want a domestic presence for any company performing work or selling goods in their country, America needs the same type of policy. We must also remember that many outsourcing companies are facing lawsuits brought on by defective products, deadly products, and information theft. Hopefully these lawsuits expose outsourcing for the scam it is and I hope the big business spineless bastards who rely on outsourcing get their just deserts by experiencing huge punitive damages from lawsuits. Finally, how about a domestic tax policy that makes outsourcing a little less attractive to big business and a little better for Americans.
