Gas Gouging And No Government Protection
In case anyone did not notice, the price of gas jumped almost .25 cents in two days throughout the Midwest based on the potential of a storm hitting somewhere in Texas. However, the hurricanes and tropical storms never hit and yet the gas stations still kept their prices inflated. Why does the Government allow the gas stations to gouge us with no repercussion? How can they raise the price on speculation and when the problem never arises they just pocket the profits and move on? Why do we get lethal Chinese imports, major gas gouging, and a reduction in civil services? What are we paying our American taxes for? I hear more about Afghanistan, Iraq, and Africa then I do about the poor in Flint Michigan, Detroit Michigan, or Chicago Illinois. When will someone step up for Americans? What 2008 Presidential candidate will step up for us?
