We went to war in Iraq to stop weapons of mass destruction and yet we do nothing in Pakistan where Islamic militants are roaming free and regrouping and potentially will have access to Pakistan’s nuclear arsenal in a worst case scenario. Furthermore, we invaded Iraq to protect America from Terrorism and yet the latest top government intelligence report has advised us that Al Qaeda will try to perpetrate another terrorist attack on U.S. soil. We have wasted billions in Afghanistan and Iraq and are we any safer? We invaded a country which had no terrorists and no Weapons of Mass Destruction and we chased the Afghani terrorists into a country where they could potentially have access to nuclear weapons. Furthermore, we emboldened Iran by weakening Iraq and thus we have enabled Hezbollah to empower itself along with other terrorist organizations in Lebanon and Palestine. Just what the F are we doing? Have we wasted so much money all over the place that we have lost our minds? Why are national security reports showing us in more danger than before? And don’t forget the outsourcing idiotic companies who are providing jobs in these Middle Eastern and Near East Asian countries where terrorism and hatred run rampant. We are providing jobs and funding to the very people who are plotting to kill us, when will intelligence finally take over in the war on terror and the threat of outsourcing? Why have we not spent more domestically and curbed immigration of illegal’s? If we do not know who is in the country then how can we really ever be protected? How about spending a few billion right here in America and hire some more border security guards, as well as more immigration officials. Do we really need an illegal terrorist immigrant to set off a dirty bomb before we act? How about some pro-action rather than another 9/11 reaction?
Numerous Government officials are now expressing alarm by stating that the war in Iraq is providing a training ground for al Qaeda to train insurgents and test the terrorist network’s ability. Well where have these Johnny come latelys been the past few years? Its now obvious that America needs to rethink its strategy on the war on terror and do what is right instead of what it feels may be right. It’s time we fight the war on terror on a more sensical level and not just door to door in Iraq.
Reportedly the terrorist threat in Europe is even worse than the threat in the United States but other than sharing information America has done nothing to help prevent attacks in Europe. In addition, European and Middle Eastern radicals are becoming more connected ideologically and with modern communication technology they are becoming connected physically through virtual communications. Globalization is becoming the ultimate empowering weapon for terrorist fundamentalists.
The recent top intelligence report expressed alarm in regards to a potentially growing number of extremists who may already be in the United States either legally or illegally. The report also reiterated the fact that al Qaeda has set up a safe haven in the Pakistan-Afghanistan border region and from this location the terrorist organization operates free from persecution. al Qaeda’s resurgence in the tribal areas of Pakistan can be tracked to the decision by President Pervez Musharraf to give responsibility for controlling the border areas between Pakistan and Afghanistan to tribal leaders. Many of these leaders are sympathetic to al Qaeada and they really cannot be counted on.
Taliban fighters are now able to prepare, train, and restock weapons supplies without intervention from the Pakistani government. Do not forget it was the Taliban that protected al Qaeda until the U.S. invasion of Afghanistan. Now these idiots have a safe haven in Waziristan and are continuously threatening to become empowered in Pakistan where an overthrown government would lead to an immediate nuclear arsenal for terrorists and most likely an immediate attack on Israel by nuclear weapons.
It’s time to get out of Iraq, address Iran, become militarily involved in Pakistan, and spend more domestically on terror protection. It’s also time we quit outsourcing so many jobs to terrorist enabling countries.
