Next President Needs To Focus On Domestic America

Our President has an approval rating around 30%, our state deficits are climbing like Atlantis rising from the depths, the price of gas is jumping once again for no apparent reason, and unemployment is creeping back up. However, the politicians running for presidency in 2008 would have you believe everything is rosy and the status quo will work just fine. I have news for them, the status quo is bleeding America dry and we cannot stand for the status quo any longer. Free trade, reduction of tariffs, illegal immigration, and now the uncontrolled and unmonitored affront of outsourcing is all adding up to the potential demise of the greatest country in the world, America. It’s time we all stood up and defended our way of life and we need to throw our support behind the next President who will support protecting the American economy and the American way of life. No more jacking at the gas pump, no more freely allowing companies to outsource American jobs while enjoying American tax benefits, and no more free trade or free product dumping by Asian countries praying on American assets. It’s time we made America the proud leader of the free world once again.

How many of us are tired of worrying about or jobs every week, let alone our children’s future? Have you done anything to protect our way of life? Have you done your part to make sure your politicians are working for American interest and not the interest of foreign entities or big business? Look at the auto companies, they outsourced and job sourced, and they unemployed so many Americans they are now struggling to turn a buck. Now the auto suppliers are feeling the pinch, maybe they should not follow suit and instead find some companies like Toyota and Honda who are actually creating American jobs and maybe they should hitch their wagon to these companies. I love Ford, GM, and Chrysler but how long can we support them when they betray American workers? How long can they say ‘Buy American’ when they close American factories and oipen up in countries hostile towards America? It’s time we got real about the way it is in America and quit tap dancing around the pink elephant in the room.

American corporations have been selling out American workers for years and now they are feeling the repercussions because foreign workers do not support the products they are making. Maybe they need to understand the mantr4a that if they pay us to build it we can afford to buy it and if they don’t we can’t. The American economy was fine until it tried to become a global hybrid. It’s time the next President does what is needed to be done to make sure that American jobs are protected, American economies are protected, and all Americans are cared for.
