Overseas Business Is Not Profitable To Anyone

Pirates of the Caribbean record release in China was 1.3 Million, is this the booming business everyone wants access to in China? Do we really want to outsource to a country where we make pennies a day in profit but exploit cheap labor or do we want to keep our standard of living and profits right here in the West and continue to keep our economic prosperity? Another issue we must consider is the censorship of China in regards to freedom of expression and press. Recently censors in China cut scenes of Chow Yun-Fat as a bald, scarred pirate in the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie because they did not like the portrayal Chow Yun-Fat acted out. Also remember that China was involved with Google in tracking down internet users who were searching for different search terms and phrases. China also had Google assist in redirecting searches to erroneous sites rather than real sites which contained various political types of information.

Is this what we really want from a global economy? Cheaper labor but reduced profits and a marginalized way of life? It’s not just China, there are many other countries America outsources to and creates jobs for which are censorious, hostile, and unfair, as well as cheap and unprofitable. How can idiotic CEO’s keep sending work overseas when it creates no real value or profit. Pirates of The Caribbean made hundreds of millions in the United States, do we really want to reduce hundreds of millions to 2 million for the sake of cheap labor? Do we really make up hundreds of millions in profit by reducing a million or two in worker cost? It’s idiotic and it has to be addressed.

A good working wage makes for a profitable business. If all of the manufacturing and service jobs are in countries paying less than a dollar an hour who will be able to buy the product being produced? If we lay off our outsource all of our jobs to cheap labor countries then who will have the money to spend to create any profit? If China, and India, and Mexico were not getting fat off of U.S. and European dollars then how would they make a profit?

For all involved in the global economy we must make sure America stays strong and healthy. Otherwise you will have a poor quality of life with not much freedom. Think about it.
