Is Iran The Real Global Menace?

The continued instability in Iraq is based largely on support by Iran. Fundamentalist terrorism continuing in Lebanon and the Gaza strip is supported mainly by funds from Iran. The proposed American missile defenses being talked about in Europe are all based on the recent hostilities discussed by Iran. The potential Soviet missile response plan is based on actions being taken in regards to Iran. With so many hot spots in the world turning into potential tinderboxes, why hasn’t anyone just gone in and taken out the real problem? Iran. If Iran was eliminated, or at least severely marginalized, the world would be a much better and safer place. Maybe someone needs to tell Russia that if we joined up we could go in together and eliminate Iran as a global threat all together and this would help alleviate a lot of globally sponsored radical terrorism. This would slow the separatist movements throughout the former Soviet republic and it would squash terrorist network support throughout the world. Many world leaders are asking how can something make so much sense yet not be acted on as of yet?

Iran has repeatedly called for the destruction and demolition of Israel. This threat alone should be enough to make Iran the number one threat for elimination in many people’s eyes. The continued funding of terrorist cells throughout the world also makes Iran a prime target for retribution. They cannot meddle in so many issues without ever thinking their day will come can they? The world is a busy place but is it to busy to smack a punk bitch back into line when it is called for?

Many Iranians are nice moderate individuals with no aspirations of world domination or Muslim extremism. However, the current group of Islamic leaders running Iran does not see itself as so moderate or accepting. Instead, the political and religious leadership in Iran wants to see destruction throughout the world on those individuals who do not share Iranian values and ideals.

Maybe some are right and the world would be a much better place if Iran was put in check. However, until many open their eyes to what is really going on in the world we may never know. Let’s just hope that whatever underlying factors causing so much world instability are dealt with and dealt with soon. We don’t need the stop drop and roll under the desk training videos being rolled back out like they were in the cold war days.
