We Won The War Now Lets Move Forward In The World

Can you imagine where the United States would be if we had kept our 430 billion dollars right here in America? We would have enough money to fix our roads in weeks instead of months. We would have enough money to fund the Department of Human services and take care of our foster children properly. We would have enough money to provide our children with proper educations instead of diminishing class returns and slashed after school programs. We would have enough money to hire proper border security officers and a sufficient amount of immigration workers. We would have enough money to fund Medicare and Social Security Administration. We could have countless other things such as new technology investments and infrastructure upgrades. Instead we have a gigantic federal deficit, a failing school system, and under-funded DHS, and the worst immigration policies and procedures in the history of the Untied States. The War on Terror is a noble idea but fighting it in a conventional manner in the streets of Iraq is not the right way any longer. The United States needs to end the occupation and bring our soldier’s home. We won the war; it’s the occupation that did not go right. However, we are not an occupying type of country so let’s end this fiasco in Iraq and begin to spend the tax dollars where they deserve to be spent, in America. Now the idiots will say if we leave now the enemy will congregate in Iraq and he will grow. To this stupid argument I say great, let them congregate, at least then we can get them all at once rather than this one or two a week.

It’s time our politicians do the right thing and bring our soldiers out of Iraq and put them back with their families at home. What’s the problem? Are we afraid that if 100 thousand soldiers return they won’t have jobs? Please tell me this is not the reason. Are we afraid that Iranian influence will overwhelm the region? I guess maybe we should have thought that out first but we cannot out-wait the Iranians, they live right next door and it is not costing them 100 billion a year to be where they are at. Maybe we should spend the billions repudiating the Iranian influence since this is what this War in Iraq has really become. Saudi Arabia and Israel fear an Iranian influence in the Iraq region and for this reason alone the United States is staying in Iraq.

America cannot keep breaking the bank to maintain a failed policy in Iraq, eventually we have to declare a victory to the war and bring our soldiers home. The failed occupation is something that the White House executives can argue about and assess blame but our brave soldiers won the war and they deserve to come home. Soldiers are meant to fight, not be watchmen over fruit stands and rug stalls. Our soldiers should not be standing guard as road blocks. Our soldiers are lean mean fighting machines and now that the fighting is over its time to bring them home to the hero’s welcome they deserve.

It’s time to bring American soldiers back to American soil and keep American dollars in the United States. If the idiotic terrorists want to congregate and assemble in Iraq after we leave then let them. At least them we can target them from a safe distance and go back to just blowing away the enemy rather than continuously put our brave sons and daughters in harms way.
