Is Globalization Killing Humanity?

In case you have not noticed we are currently experiencing a severe outbreak of viral hemorrhaging disease in fish throughout the state of Michigan. We are experiencing the death of one third of our honey bee colonies in the United States and all other parts of the North American and Central American continents. We are experiencing a severe supposed energy crunch. We also have the outbreak of Avian Bird Flu throughout Asia and Europe. We have a very prominent river in Italy drying up. We have the polar ice caps melting in the North Pole. All of these natural disasters are currently occurring and they are just a sampling of what we are going to face as we continue to industrialize and populate more and more of the world. Will globalization and the new global market be the death of humanity? Many believe so and if we do not slow down the industrialization of the earth I will occur faster than you think.

China, India, America, Europe, and Latin America all want to be the big players in a global economy. However, we must remember that there is not enough resources for everyone to be the big dog. Some may just say that’s the haves trying to hold down the have nots but when you have ten mouths to feed and only four apples to eat someone will starve or all will have to settle for a little less. The world is so focused on globalization it is forgetting reality. The reality is that we are using up the worlds resources at a rate that exceeds the Earths natural ability to recover. Furthermore, we are introducing ten times the amount of waste and pollution we did ten years ago and the earth is just not able to assimilate all of this waste into its natural cycle. We are pushing humanity to the brink and unless you are an idiot you cannot avoid this issue any longer.

If we do not slow down the globalization of the world we will be fighting over just the basics such as wheat and water in the matter of twenty to thirty years. We will also have gigantic holes in the ozone as well as flooding throughout Asia and the Pacific.

I am not saying that everyone needs to become a gigantic tree hugger or join the Al Gore save the world cause but you should pay attention and become more educated. You should make sure that your elected politicians are doing all they can to make sure other countries governments are addressing globalizations concerns like the American government is. America alone cannot save the world; it will take a much bigger effort.
