Toyota put a bitch smack on the auto industry and they did it to both Chinese and American business professionals. They showed that it is not the cheapest manufacturer who sells the most cars it is the best manufacturer who sells the most cars. While the United States, India, and China race to the bottom to find the cheapest labor sources available, Japan focuses on doing it right and proficiently. Idiotic Big Business CEO’s who cannot manage their way out of a fast food bathroom should be ashamed at their performance in comparison to Toyota and in small part Honda as well. These Japanese companies have shown that quality still outdoes outsourcing and all of the outsourcing brainless cowardous bastard CEO’s in America should stand up and take their lumps, these cowards cannot hide behind laid off labor any longer.
Japan not only outsells many manufacturers in the world, they also keep true to their customer base. Japan builds where it sells and relies on good quality and loyalty. Conversely, China, America, and India are living in a world of shadows where they all look for the darkest corner of the world where they can hide their shame and workers where no one will know just how low they have sunk.
I say ‘Buy American’ all the time, and unless you are an idiot you can see that it is Toyota who is creating the most new auto manufacturing jobs in America. While domestic companies such as Ford, Chrysler, and GM trip over each other trying to run offshore, Japan has been hiring and providing domestic Americans with jobs, and decent paying jobs at that. One must ask themselves, ‘Is an American made car manufactured in Japan more American than a Japanese car made in America?’ The answer to this question should be eye opening for most Americans.
I root for Ford, GM, and Chrysler. I want these companies to be world leaders. However, I also want them to learn from Japanese manufacturers and see that keeping Americans working and producing good quality is the way to profitability and not cowardly brainless outsourcing.
