Citibank Cuts American Jobs For International Ones, What a Betrayal
The city of Detroit and the state of Michigan hammered Comerica for moving 200 jobs to Texas but Citibank has cut 17,000 American jobs and they are reportedly going to move 9,500 of those jobs to the international market which is really another way of saying outsourcing. Their exact words were something like, “More than 9,500 jobs will be moved to lower-cost locations, both domestically and internationally, with about two-thirds through attrition.” So why does Citibank get a free pass on the bad publicity while companies like Comerica get hammered? It’s not fair and it’s time American politicians enact some legislation that protects American interests and jobs. How much job raping can one country take? We are the country that everyone wants to sleep with but no one wants to date, it is ridiculous. When will our Government get real and address our job climate and our competitive situation?
We also want to know when our Government will help with the gas-raping currently going on throughout our country. We have our heads buried so deep in the Iraqi desert we are losing our American way of life. We need our Government officials to get their head back in the United States and address our real concerns. We need a better energy policy and more protection to keep our American jobs.
Our Government recently stepped up and mentioned unfair labor practices in China but what they did was not enough, we need more, much more.
It’s time we all stepped up and stopped companies like Citibank from betraying the American citizens who helped build them. We need to stop patronizing outsourcing bastards and stick with those who stick with us.
If you don’t think outsoucing can kill your city just visit Flint. Flint was once one of the most beautiful and thriving American cities. However, in the blink of an outsourcing bastards eye the city was devestated. You and your city could be next so you better pay more attention and get on your local politician.
