As America spreads itself thin in Afghanistan and Iraq, China and India are gearing up to be the future powers of the globe. While America wastes billions of valuable resources throughout the world China and India are consolidating their individual resources inside their respective countries and using this money to upgrade infrastructure and education. For tens of years we have heard it’s better to fight with your brains than it is your brawn yet the last few years have seen a reversion back to the caveman mentality of domination rather than the more proficient and productive cerebral approach. The question must be asked, “How much more can America stand to lose in Iraq, Afghanistan, and now even parts of Africa?” Have we bitten off more than we can chew and condemned ourselves to becoming a third rate country or will we make the hard choices and regain our bearings in time to save our status as an economic and political super power? And ask your self this, “How can America be giving Iraq and Afghanistan so much money in aid when we are borrowing form the Chinese hand over fist?” Broke people usually do not loan out to others what they barely have or soon they know they will expire. Are they smarter than our politicians? At times it appears so. America needs to right its ship and we need to do it soon.
Osama Bin Laden said he could never beat America in a classical war but instead he said he could bleed America dry in the deserts of the Middle East by making America exhaust itself of its assets and then attack us when we are vulnerable. Many say that Osama Bin Laden is an idiot but that his prediction of bleeding American resources dry in the deserts of the Middle East are coming true and the lack of funds are beginning to show in America. Many point to the layoff of major urban city police officers and state troopers as signs that Osama’s strategy is working to weak America as a protected country.
Many also point out that all of the turmoil in Iraq and throughout the Middle East has caused the price of gas to go up astronomically and this also bleeds America dry while also profiting the Middle eastern countries that harbor and support extremists with similar agendas to that of Osama Bin Ladens’. Could our desire to prove extremists like Saddam Hussein and Osama Bin Laden wrong really lead to Americas’ downfall? Hopefully not but these two idiots pointed out the problems America would face well in advance of the problems we are now facing.
New job creation in America has staggered, energy prices are sky high, our country is divided in many areas, our status to the rest of the world is very indifferent, and our countries resources are going out of the country faster than they can be generated. I think it’s time we not only rethink our war on Terror strategy it’s time we rethink our whole political and economic strategy. It’s time we become leaders once again and abandon the role of liberator.
