American Children Should Be Made Safe From Terrorist

As if we do not have enough to worry about now we have whack jobs reportedly getting jobs as bus drivers for our children? Are these the jobs I keep hearing about that no one will do? Is this the new security plan here in America? Send all of the money to Iraq and then hire extremists to drive our children, talk about letting the fox loose in the hen house, what is going on here? Reportedly there are reports coming out of Washington detailing a belief that suspected members of extremist groups have signed up as school bus drivers in the United States. The report has been unofficially confirmed by members of the counterterrorist organization in Washington but the report is supposedly based on a cautionary bulletin to police. FBI spokespeople said parents and children have nothing to fear, however. FBI official Rich Kolko stated,” There are no threats, no plots and no history leading us to believe there is any reason for concern.” However, this does not explain why law enforcement agencies around the country were asked to watch out for kids’ safety.

I think it’s high time we hold back a little something from Iraq and use it for our own protection right here in America. At least our children should be protected, they hare helpless nd innocent and they deserve our protection. I do not want to see a bus full of catastrophe or a school full of devastation, our children deserve better. According to CNN the bulletin, parts of which were read to The Associated Press, did not say how often foreign extremists have sought to acquire licenses to drive school buses, or where. It was sent Friday as part of what officials said was a routine FBI and Homeland Security Department advisory to local law enforcement. It noted “recent suspicious activity” by foreigners who either drive school buses or are licensed to drive them, according to a counterterror official. Foreigners under recent investigation include “some with ties to extremist groups” who have been able to “purchase buses and acquire licenses,” the bulletin says.

I know we are busy here in America fighting a war on terror but can’t we make sure our children are safe at home first?
