Comerica Is Not The Bad Guy, Outsourcing Businesses Are

Why are so many people jumping on Comerica Bank’s decision to move their headquarters from Detroit to Dallas? At least they still have their offices in the United States. Why aren’t the idiots protesting Bank of America which moved their operations to India? At least Comerica did not sell out Americans like Bank of America did. Then you have Ford Motors, they close numerous plants in North America and move the jobs to Mexico and Vietnam and no one bats an eye. Idiots in Detroit say they want Coemrica Park renamed well what about Ford Field and the infamous ‘Way Forward’ campaign? Are we going to rename Ford Field Fiesta Nuevo? Furthermore, if you were Comerica would you stay in a tax burdened city like Detroit where corruption is apparently rampant throughout the leadership in Detroit and the tax rate and parking fees are astronomical or would you relocate a measly 200 jobs to a city where business is thriving and the amenities are not as costly? Detroit drills its residences and workers with a large tax and they wonder why everyone is scrambling to get out. What return do you get for your tax effort? A Lonny Bates on every corner that’s what you get.

What is really idiotic about the Comerica bashing is the fact that the same Detroiters bashing Comerica are the same individuals who shop at Wal-Mart and buy products made in China and India over other stores who make and sell American made products. Now ask your self who is the real sellout here? Comerica is still one of the largest employers in the state and yet the state of Michigan chooses to bash them. Maybe the state needs to look more at Laz-Y boy, or Ford, or EDS, all of which have sold out Michigan and the United States for cheap slave labor in outsourcing countries.

Go ahead and add to the ignorance by closing your accounts at Comerica and put more Michiganders out of a job. Better yet bashing idiots put your money in Bank of America and let some Indian telemarketing teller handle your business and when they fudge up your account and balance you can blame your idiotic self.

Get with the program, Comerica made a smart business decision and unlike so many other traitorous American companies they did not leave the domestic United States. If you want to bash then bash the right companies. Go after the outsourcers and those who rely on outsourcing labor, leave the respectful companies like Comerica alone. Educate yourself and make the right decision, do not be an idiot much longer.
