It’s Time We Stand Up For Our American Soldiers

Why are soldiers worrying about hospital conditions at the Walter Reed Medical Center when America has billions to send to Iraq and Afghanistan? If our soldiers can sacrifice for our country then our country must not neglect or disrespect their brave soldiers. It is unacceptable that American military hospitals are in disrepair and suffering from outdated equipment when we have the resources to make sure this does not happen. How can we export democracy when it appears all we are really doing is importing third world behavior? There is no reason any American soldier should ever be concerned for their health or treatment anywhere inside the domestic United States. How about the American politicians take some of the billions we are wasting in foreign countries and dedicate to the maintenance and upkeep of our own domestic VA hospitals? It’s time you not only read this type of statement but its time you react to it. You need to talk this story up as much as possible and write your congressman and senator and let them know that substandard treatment of our soldiers will not be tolerated and you want more American dollars spent on Americans and less on foreign countries.

Case in point, Pakistan. Pakistan is harboring Al Qaeda terrorists in various regions of their country and they will not allow American forces to help track down and apprehend these racist criminals. Americans risk their lives trying to secure the Afghanistan Pakistan border and Pakistan allows the Al Qaeda terrorists to attack and regroup in their country.

Then you have Afghans who protest America and shout death to America in relation to a terrorist bombing carried out by a Muslim that targeted Muslims. However, the Afghans did not go after the terrorist organizations instead they chanted death to America and down with America. Yeah, it appears these are the individuals who deserve our billions in federal money and not our Veterans hospitals in the United States.

How much longer do we have to give til it hurts? It is hurting pretty badly and we just don’t know how much more hurt we can take and when you consider that Iraqi’s, Afghans, Pakistani’s and numerous other Middle Easterners are chanting and calling for America’s destruction when all we do is sacrifice money and lives for their sake. If they cannot respect our sacrifice than I can no longer respect their cause.

It’s time we really take a look at our responsibilities and make sure we take care of our own Americans first and then give the rest if any is left over. It’s bad enough the cowardly outsourcing traitorous bastards are selling out America can we really have our politicians following suit?
