China Swoops In On Cheap Oil Source In Iraq

In case you are not paying attention, the Chinese are looking to develop oil fields in Iraq. Can you imagine this? We sacrifice our countries lives, livelihoods, and our federal funds, and the Chinese come in afterwards to scoop up the cheap oil, how can we allow this to occur? If anything Americans and Britain’s should be the ones developing the oil fields and not the Chinese. In all honesty I would hope the Iraqi’s are the ones who develop the oil fields but it appears the Chinese are moving in for the kill and they want to secure their cheap source of energy. Is this action by China in Iraq disingenuous and dastardly or is it the smart thing to do? America is sop reliant on foreign governments for their energy needs why don’t they make the deal wit Iraq to develop the oil fields? The oil of Iraq was supposed to help fund their liberation so why not have America make the deal for the oil, it seems only right.

While we are discussing the war in Iraq I would also like to know why we are rebuilding hospitals in Iraq and Afghanistan while our soldiers return home to rat infested mold ridden crap houses. Our soldiers deserve much better than they are receiving and it’s time we take care of our own. Walter Reed medical center and others like it should all be condemned and we should redirect some of this B.S. Iraqi reconstruction money back into the United States so that we can build some new hospitals designed to take care of our own proud citizens and soldiers.

No weapons of mass destruction, no end in sight to the racist behavior of sectarian violence, and no real progress to report. Do we have any legitimate reason to further our stay in Iraq? Shouldn’t we let these weasels stand on their own two feet and let them forge their country? No one held America’s hand during their revolutions of freedom so I think the same should be true for Iraq.

It’s time America focuses back on American concerns and quit being so distracted by Iraq. We must also ask why Scooter Libby would lie to a grand jury in regards to the ValeriePlame incident, why pay such a heavy price for such a small issue.
