It’s Time To Lead The Way Once Again

Toyota has sales that increased, Chrysler and Fords have lost sales shares. Toyota is building another auto plant in the United States, Ford and Chrysler are cutting jobs and forcing early retirements. Toyota is on the list of most reliable cars Ford and Chrysler are not. Does it take a genius to figure out why Toyota is outselling domestic auto makers in the United States? I hope GM, Chrysler, and Ford get it together and pull through their current problems but until they deal honestly with Americans they will continue to experience problems.

More and more educated Americans feel betrayed by Big Three commercials which ask us to buy American made cars when in reality these so called American made cars are fabricated in China, partially assembled in Vietnam, and painted in Mexico or South America. Toyota, to their credit, fabricates, build, assemble, and manufacture a large amount of their cars and trucks in the United States. They provide jobs and the workers buy their cars. Toyota is not only one of the leading auto sellers in the United States they are also becoming one of the leading auto job providers in the United States.

It’s very simple, if we build it we can afford to buy it if we are not paid to build it then how can you expect us to buy it? Slave labor working for rupees on the dime or Yuan on the quarter are not workers who will be able to buy a domestic car. You can’t expect to build a car for pennies on the dollar and then sell it to Americans for top dollar. You need to pay Americans a decent wage to build your car so they can then turn around and buy your cars.

It does not take a genius to figure out how to make the American economy strong again it just takes intelligence. We need to build it and buy it and abandon the outsourcing is better losing attitude. I have provided the plan lets see if the Big Three can follow it back to profitability.
