Now that all of the cowardly American CEO’s have exploited outsourcing we are seeing that many American companies are falling by the wayside. These idiots thought no one else would find a goose with the golden egg. However, these idiots have cut their loyal product base by laying off the workers who built and bought their product and now they wonder how their business can be saved. I guess Juan Pablo or Ho Chi Mihn or Sangupta Jimmyjiver have not spent their Peso’s or Rupes on their products. Companies such as Chrysler are reaping the whirlwind and there are many more who will follow. If American businesses want to survive they better learn that we will only buy it if we build it and when no one is building no one can afford to buy so I think it’s time Americans went back to business school and created a new economic model for American businesses and the American economy. And when is the government going to really do something about the cost of oil and our energy needs? We hear lip service every State of the Union address but where is the action?
While Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton punch it out for Democratic hierarchy many other politicians are sending warning signs to their constituents advising them that when President Bush leaves office the full effect of his economic policies will be felt and for the American economy to thrive it better be prepared. Right or wrong President Bush did what he felt was necessary to keep the American economy humming. However, where he lacked was in his oversight of domestic economic policies. The President, and the congress for that matter, needs to pay more attention to domestic and global business trends and help enact legislation that will make America competitive in the global market while also leveling the global economic battlefield.
It’s time we quit investing so heavily in Iraq and Afghanistan and instead invest more money in American infrastructure and services. It’s time America rises back to the top of the business world by pimp slapping the Chinese and Jack slapping India. It’s time America evolves with the changing world and propels itself to the forefront of the global economy.
W need to quit whining about unfair labor and unfair trade practices, it’s time we make a stand and hold other countries accountable. We also need to start holding ourselves accountable to our own country. We need to make sure our politicians are enacting legislation that promotes domestic business growth while at the same time promoting education for our American children.
