The War ON America’s Economy Should Trump Any So-Called War On Terror

Why are we wasting hours and hours debating a non-binding resolution? In the end if it is all for the point and not any legislation with real teeth I must ask, what is the point? We hired a Democratic Congress and Senate to right what we perceived as wrongs with the way the United States was running, we did not hire a new group of Presidential witch hunters. We have states like Michigan laying off tens of state troopers and all the while we still waste resources in Iraq and right here in America talking about Iraq. If the new Democrats will not work to make America a better place, and the past republicans did not, who and where can we turn? Remember, as the jobs go so goes our economic strength, once we lose our economic strength we will be much more vulnerable to the rest of the world than we are to a few idiotic racist terrorists. The war on terror is much like the war on drugs, a useless war being fought in the wrong manner. The war on drugs, much like the war on terror, is taking Americas’ focus on the war of economics and if America does not get back on track it is headed for a fall it will take generations to recover from. Sad but true and if Congress and the Senate do not get it going in the right direction soon the American economy will take a bitch slap the likes of which we have never seen.

It’s ridiculous that the state of Michigan is becoming less secure because the state does not have enough money to keep the troopers on the road. As a state where unemployment is rising, crime is rising, and homelessness is rising, how can we justify reducing state trooper numbers? Has America been bled to the bone? Have we exhausted all that we have and now we are cutting away even the lean? Someone please tell me that somewhere we have politicians in America actually working on domestic American issues.

How ridiculous is it that a country like America is pouring billions into a useless war in Iraq while countries like India and China are spending billions on children’s education. Now even Russia has surpassed the United States in its own domestic providing ability. How can a proud country American politician allow countries like China, Japan, Korea, and Russia to achieve so much more civically than we are currently in America?

Hey its fat Tuesday, celebrate like a politician. Fatten up, think all is well, and eat a bunch of sugar filled Paczki, this will make it all better. Maybe for Lent our wasteful politicians could give up being idiots, now that would be a sacrifice.
