American Tax Dollars Help Fund Iraqi Terrorist Parliament Member

With democracy like Iraqs’ who needs Osama Bin Laden? Talk about bang for your buck. The American taxpaying dollars being funneled into support for the Iraqi Government has in turn become money utilized for supporting and caring for a known fundamentalist terrorist who is actually responsible for blowing up a United States and French embassy. Jamal Jafaar Mohammed is living high on the hog enjoying your dime while at the same time behaving in a manner which is still causing tens to hundreds of American deaths. Jamal Jafaar Mohammed is reportedly sitting in on security meetings while at the same time maintaining his close relations with Iran and his previous Shiite fundamentalist ties. Many say Mohammed is responsible for sharing intelligence which has directly compromised American soldiers and caused loss of life. Is this what you want to fund with your tax dollars? Jamal Jafaar Mohammed was actually sentenced to death in Kuwait for the 1983 bombings of the U.S. and French embassies but he is sitting pretty in Iraq enjoying his diplomatic immunity from Iraq’s parliament and life could not be better for the proud member of Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki’s ruling coalition. All of this has been verified by U.S. military intelligence and Iraq has done nothing to address the issue. Remember this fact next time you hear the President or a Senator ask Americans to tighten the belt a little more while we fund Iraq and its fledgling democracy.

Reportedly Jamal Jafaar Mohammed’s seat in parliament gives him immunity from prosecution. However, Washington says Mohammed supports Shiite insurgents and acts as an Iranian agent in Iraq. Reportedly U.S. military intelligence has launched a protest with al-Maliki’s government by leveling allegations that Jamal Jafaar Mohammed is an enabler to Iranian Special Forces in Iraq, they stated that it is widely known that Jamal Jafaar Mohammed acts as a channel for weapons and political influence for the Iranian government.

Jamal Jafaar Mohammed has refused to comment through the Iraqi parliament, through the ruling Shiite Muslim coalition he still belongs to, or through his contacts at the Badr Organization. Mohammed is avoiding the paparazzi at this time so as to keep a low profile while everything gets worked out.

Jamal Jafaar Mohammed was sentenced to death for the 1984 car bombings of the U.S. and French embassies. As a result of his direct actions five people died and 86 were wounded during the terrorist bombings. Mohammed had fled the country before the trial as was judged as guilty in absentia. However, Mohammed did not stop there, he is also accused of involvement in the hijacking of a Kuwaiti airliner in 1984 and the attempted assassination of a Kuwaiti prince.

Is this really the new type of democracy we can expect in the Middle East?
