Al Qaeda is threatening to attack vital bank information and American personal information, just how safe are you? Talk about leaving the door unlocked and the windows wide open. According to Reuters - The U.S. government has warned U.S. private financial services of an al Qaeda call for a cyber attack against U.S. online stock trading and banking Web sites beginning Friday, officials said on Thursday.
The officials — a person familiar with the warning and a spokesman for the Department of Homeland Security said the Islamic militant group aimed to penetrate and destroy the databases of the U.S. stock market and banking Web sites. I guess as long as we keep outsourcing our database and call center jobs to areas of dubious reputation we can expect more and more vulnerability to this type of attack. While we spend billions on the war on terror our ignorant CEO’s outsource information work to foreign countries that have little or no care at all for American security or privacy, they just assume see you hacked and whacked as care about your privacy being invaded.
Maybe American Government needs to help protect Americans from corporate greed. Maybe we can keep a few jobs here in America in order to keep our lives and our livelihood safe and secure. Corporate America is cutting its own throat by carelessly setting up call centers and data processing centers in areas of the world where sentiment for Americans runs very low. Just how long before these companies are infiltrated and catastrophe erupts? I hope each business that outsources its technology and data sectors thinks twice, they are the new prime targets in the war on terror and once they are outside the domestic United States they become very vulnerable.
al Qaeda wants to harm you and outsourcing helps them
