New Congress And Senate Should Lay The Smack Down On Their Bitches

Pimps say, ‘You have to work the Hoe to make the dough.’ If these economic geniuses can figure this out I hope our newly elected politicians can follow right in line. Pimps understand that workers generate revenue which inspires business which keeps action in the local economy and provides the customer base the pimp needs to continue his\her lifestyle. How can a pimp have a better grasp on modern American business than a college educated CEO? Simple, pimps are in it for the long term and they are not blindsided by short term profit at the cost of long term losses. Maybe we need more pimps in Washington and fewer politicians, well probably not but we could learn from their simplicity. A pimp will state that he will lay his goon hand down from time to time and comb a bitch’s hair back every now and then. Now we do not condone this type of behavior but what the pimp is saying makes sense in the context of the economic policy discussion. Basically, the pimp is saying if the functions of the micro-economic foundation he has built changes he will get it back in line promptly. Maybe its time to lay the pimp hand down and pimp-smack the American business structure back to its profitable ways. We need to promote domestic businesses who employ domestic workers and abolish the race to the bottom style of economics globalization and outsourcing has produced. Just like a pimp, we cannot have customers if we do not have commerce.

Comcast has made a bold statement by keeping choosing quality over near-term profit. Comcast has decided to keep their call-centers located in the domestic United States rather than suffer lower quality work for outsourcing prices. Many see this as a growing trend and I believe our new Congress and Senate should make sure they reward companies such as Comcast for their dedication and allegiance to the American public. With corporate greed at an all-time high our newly elected politicians in Washington should take the time to carve out legislation which rewards companies who keep jobs at home and make it more taxing for companies who perform outsourced work while bringing their profits back to sit in safe American banks. It does not take a genius to see that we are becoming the Russia of a new generation. However, if we address our mistakes and faults early on then we can make sure we protect American prosperity and in the end whether you are a Republican or a Democrat it is our feasibility and future that is most important to us.

Russia tried to build an economic system based on cheap imported products, outsourced labor, and globalization. We have all seen how that worked for them, long unemployment lines, government bread and cheese, shortages of meat and dairy products, and zero economic growth for over ten years. During modern times Russias’ new government has changed its ways and made Russia more dependent on Russian workers for all of their material and manufacturing. Russia is now once again reemerging as an economic power and a world superpower. Make no mistake, if you are not an economic power you cannot be a world superpower and no economic powers are built on cheap imports and outsourced labor.

We must also not confuse the issue of foreign companies building and selling in America with imports. Toyota and Honda are building plants in America, providing Americans with jobs, and selling their cars in America. Conversely, Ford Motors is closing American plants, building half o f their car outside the country, and eliminating American jobs for cheap outsourced labor. Which company is really showing dedication to America? Which company is honestly doing business as an American concern and who is relying on an image of honesty and loyalty? People wonder why Ford Motors is not selling cars but maybe they should look at the business model of Toyota. Toyota understands that if we build it we can afford to buy it. Conversely, Ford looks and says we can build it overseas for half the cost and somewhere in America someone will buy it. Again, we must look at the process and ask, “Who is going down the road of prosperity and who is blindly walking down the road to Russian Style Economic Destruction?”

Congress and the Senate must help American businesses see that they have been blindsided by the short-term pop of outsourcing which in reality will only lead to a long term loss of revenues. Toyota recognizes this and keeps the consumers working, if we are not being paid to build it then there is no way we can afford to buy it, it is a very simple economic fact. Corporate greed has exceeded corporate intelligence and maybe its time Congress and the Senate helped us out with a little direction here.
