As 9/11 approaches we must take time to remember our fallen American brothers and sisters. We should send a prayer their way and ask for their continued protection. They were innocent victims of a violent racist action. They were thrust to the forefront of a battlefield they were unaware of. We feel sadly for their families loss and we still are trying to make sense of the violence and racist hatred which led to their demise. However, we must remember the strengths their families showed and the resolve all Americans displayed while coming together as Americans on that fateful day when it appeared at times that hope was lost.
The tragic events at all three locations is a tragedy we will not soon get over, it has been five years but for most the wounds opened on that day are still healing. The politicians made very heartfelt speeches that day as the will this September 11th but there will still be pain and suffering that no speech can take away. There is also still a racist element out there still hell-bent on seeing American deaths and losses and we must remember to pursue and take on this racist element at all turns. I may not always agree with how the war on terror is being fought but I do believe it is a war we must fight.
The individuals in Washington and New York who were involved in this tragedy are still trying to put their lives together; the individuals involved with flight 93 are doing the same. These brave families who had loved ones directly involved in the devastation of 9/11 should be in all of our prayers this day, and all other days.
We must also watch to see how our companies acknowledge this somber day. How many of these companies seek to have American sentiment look gladly upon them while meanwhile they are selling Americans out the back door through outsourcing actions which betray our country as bad as the terrorist who attacked America on 9/11. They cannot be so Americanized for one day and then back-door us the rest of the year. These companies went out of their way to cash in on 9/11 sentiment when it was popular then they sold us out immediately once they could. We must not also forget these bastards on 9/11 because they are destroying our country as bad as the terrorist are.
However, 9/11 is a day of remembrance not of calling out or asking for justification. We must take the time to reflect on our country and what it means to each of us and then we must move forward. We must not forget but we must look ahead. We must remember how one we were on that day and take that into the future as Americas’ future. We msut remember how we stuck together and moved forward.
God Bless the United States of America
