Finally we see some genius in the automotive manufactures as well as American ingenuity. I am so excited about this story that I think I will buy my next car from Chrysler. I support American companies who create American jobs and I see the work Chrysler is doing to keep Americans working and I feel they should be rewarded with having their cars built here in America sold here in America. I hope you join me in this feeling and I hope other American manufacturers learn a lesson from this.
Chrysler is not the first to try this form of manufacturing but they are one of the firsts to try it in the manner being done in Toledo. They are giving control of the suppliers facilities to the suppliers themselves, they are letting them do what they know how to do best. I think this is a great idea and I hope it leads to a whole new market here in America which creates numerous jobs.
We here so much about outsourcing and job-sourcing that it makes me excited to see an American company actually step up to the late and serve on up for the American people. For so long corporate America has relied on the seeking of cheap labor in foreign lands, thus destroying their customer base. Chrysler is actually relying on brains and brawn to be more efficient and for this they should be rewarded. They put their noses to the grindstone and figured out how to turn a buck in good ol’ America, and they also get to keep their strong customer base working and buying their cars, ‘How sweet it is.’
I hope the rest of America takes a look at Chrysler and sees that cheap labor outsourcing is not always the answer; outsourcing has devastated the worlds’ economy whether you like it or not it’s the hard cold truth. The only two exceptions appear to be India and China where even working is not really much of a bonus and most of the workers cannot afford even one item they actually create or manufacture. However, even in these countries the cost of labor is rising dramatically with not much gain in worker production.
Most economists believe that eventually American businesses will see that they need to keep the majority of their work in America if they want to survive. The question is, will any of the bozo CEO’s who only know outsourcing as a way to make a profit learn how to make a buck in the new and emerging American business market? If not, I hope they choke on their outsourcing format and go out of business quicker than you can say outsourcing.
