Will President Bush be remembered for bring freedom and democracy to various parts of the world or will he be remembered for taking the average American breadwinner and truing him\her into a 10$ dollar an hour worker?
The question depends on who you ask, the opinion you have of the President is most likely going to effect the way you vote in the 2006 elections so the question remains, “Will President Bush be remembered for bring freedom and democracy to various parts of the world or will he be remembered for taking the average American breadwinner and truing him\her into a 10$ dollar an hour worker?”
Do we stick with a Republican Congress which has allowed President Bush to carry out his current policies or do we make a change? Do we let the Senate sit as is or do we try to change the way we are going? The decision is up to you but you better make it fast, you have weeks to formulate an opinion and decision so its best to start your learning now.
President Bush has been whirlwinding around the country trying to drum up support for Republican candidates. However, his Iraq war rhetoric is wearing thin and many undecided’s are leaning Democratic because they feel that Bush is too focused on countries around the world and not enough on the domestic United States. Fence line voters claim the economy as their number one issue in regards to their decision on who they will vote for.
Many Democrats are trumpeting the fact that under Bush we have went from a country with a Federal surplus to a country with a gigantic Federal deficit. They are also displaying facts showing the losses of jobs throughout America based on lax domestic business policies which help encourage outsourcing.
Many voters are tired of hearing about freedom and democracy in the Middle East while their salaries are becoming 10$ an hour jobs. Benefits are being cut, wages reduced, and pensions obliterated. Its hard to garner votes from a hard hit American when all you talk about is how much better it is getting I nth3e rest of the world. The Republicans better think again if they think President Bush can pull a rabbit out of the hat a third time with his war on terrorism hype. We have seen behind the curtain, we now want what we deserve, politicians working for Americans not the rest of the world.
