Is It Racism Or Pure Hatred In The Middle East?

Iran and Syria have professed they want peace in the Middle East yet all they do is inspire individuals to hate and violence, where is the logic here bozo’s? Case in point, recently Iran opened an exhibition in its country of more than 200 cartoons which depicted humor in regards to Jews and the Holocaust. The exhibition opened Monday as Iran’s response to last year’s Muslim outrage over a caricature of the Prophet Muhammad in a Danish newspaper. I don’t understand how hurting Jews is any way to react to a Danish newspaper issue but I guess racism rears its head at any opportunity. I also don’t see why racist Syrians attack American interests in the Middle East in retaliation for Indias’ stance against Muslim oppression and disagreement in the Kashmir region, but again I think you can chalk this one up to racist hatred. President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad preaches that Islam is the faith of peace yet all he does is discuss his professed desire to see Israel melted from the map, he has outwardly and publicly spoken of his disbelief that the holocaust ever even occurred. The Iranian president makes statements which lead individuals to believe that Mahmoud Ahmadinejad believes the Jews fabricated the holocaust to get some type of sympathy vote or something. Is this really a man who we should take religious advice from? Remarkably some do.

The holocaust exhibition in Iran is a tasteless display showing over 200 entries from Iran and around the world. The exhibition was in response to a contest which asked individuals to send in cartoons depicting comic situations in regards to the holocaust. The competition was said to have been created as a way to reflect the views of Iran’s hard-line President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. The Iranian president received extensive censure throughout the world last year for calling the Holocaust a myth and saying Israel should be destroyed.

One despicable cartoon submitted by Indonesian Tony Thomdean depicts the Statue of Liberty holding a book on the Holocaust in its left hand and giving a Nazi-style salute with the other. I wonder how Tony knows about the pain and suffering of oppression, I also wonder if he will be employed by some bastardous outsourcing company regardless of his anti-Semitic views?

According to Fox News, Masoud Shojai, director of the host Caricature House, said a jury looked through 1,200 entries received after the contest was announced in February by the co-sponsor, the Iranian newspaper Hamshahri. Reportedly Hamshahri said it wanted to test the West’s tolerance for drawings about the Nazi killing of 6 million Jews in World War II. The entries on display came from nations including United States, Indonesia and Turkey.

Not all Muslims are racist; the majorities are good God fearing honest individuals. However, they have a duty to deal with the radical racist element in their society or otherwise they will be painted as complacent and thus enabling of racist behavior. Is it any wonder Elvis has been spotted everywhere in the world but the Middle East? I think the King knows better.
