The dirty rotten low down b@$^@$*$ who run gas stations jacked their price on average 15 cents overnight because it was on CNN that there is a potential hurricane brewing in the Southern Hemisphere. However, the storm dissipated and there is no threat. Nonetheless the gas companies have kept their prices artificially inflated so as to gouge Americans already on shaky budgets, I think these bastards are more un-American than the creepy outsourcing CEO’s who are gutting America form the inside out. This is an election year, it would be a great time for some candidate to finally address this issue and show some teeth, I know that candidate would get my vote.
Why do we continuously allow gas and oil companies to take advantage of us without any recourse or response? I also want to know why there are not more class action lawsuits in an attempt to stop local gas stations from gouging and price fixing. The supply and demand argument does not fly any longer because the government reports show we have an over abundance of oil available. To top it off, gas prices went down today yet gas prices went up. I think that since the storm dissipated we should actually get a price break from the gas companies; if they gouge us on the potential they should reward us on the non-event.
It’s an election year, lets see if we really have a candidate out there with the backbone to tackle big business and their exploitation of the average American.
