Why Worry About Communist Cuba When We Still Empower Communist China?

The Michigan economy is in disaster recovery mode, numerous other Midwestern states are in the same position, but what do our politicians do, they ready for Cuba. How can we cut federal programs domestically while we ready money for another foreign country? Its getting to the point to where if you need American aide and an American job you will have to move out of the country. What is the deal here? Why are we worrying about Cuba when we have so many domestic problems right here in America?

I feel for the Cubans who suffer under Fidel Castro but it is not really my problem, I am an American and I worry more for my fellow Americans than I do for a country which has been hostile towards us for the last 50 years. Why isn’t congress sending financial aide to Michigan and other Midwestern states? And if we have a few spare dollars then why aren’t we sending it to areas affected by Hurricane Katrina? It’s time we quit saving Afghanistan, Iraq, and now possibly Cuba, when does it end? When countries such as China, and India, are gearing up their young for college education as well as building infrastructure, America is idiotically spending all of its assets on things that are draining our countries reserves. Why don’t we take care of ourselves first and then worry about the rest?

I’m all for democracy but I am also for saving the integrity of the United States. If we are so worried about communism then why do we outsource so much to China? I think we deserve better and I hope American politicians come to their senses.
