Lead Iraqi Judge Says Target Americans Not Iraqi’s

I think the first quoted sentence I will provide for you says it all but I encourage you to read on. Reportedly the lead judge in the Sadaam Hussein trial, Chief Judge Raouf Abdul Rahman, verbally accosted the former Iraqi leader in court by stating, “Why don’t you tell them (insurgents) to attack to American bases, not the market places and cafes.” Did I just hear that right? We are supporting a country whose most important judge tells it’s most despicable leader that he needs to provide more accurate instructions for his followers so that they target Americans more precisely in Iraq. Why hasn’t the Bush Administration addressed this? I would also like to know how and why this important judge can get away with saying this, how dare he direct Sadaam to tell his followers to target Americans only, what is going on here?

I am waiting for the politician who has balls enough to speak up about this issue, I can’t believe a bigger eruption has not occurred yet. If all we are is a group of targets then we need to bring our brave men and women home, I also want to know how a public official as important as this judge can openly say such a thing with no reprimand, where is the real justice here?

Reportedly Sadaam also requested to have a firing squad rather than a public hanging, he feels that hangings are from criminals and he deserves a more dignified death sentence. I say this request deserves no recognition whatsoever, he deserves to be punished in the most regular fashion befitting any crime he is convicted of, he does not deserve any worse or any better attention than any other possible criminal.

I hope the individuals at Arrgghh get a hold of this and pass it on, they represent some of the brave soldiers in the world that this judge wants targeted, are their life worth less than an Iraqi citizens? Maybe, according to Chief Judge Raouf Abdul Rahman. I think we need clarification and we definitely need a new policy, we are over three years into this disaster and it does not appear to be getting resolved by anyone in power right now.
