Border Security, Are You Kidding?

There is talk that America may send troops to patrol the border between Israel and Lebanon but in all honesty how can we be trusted to protect foreign borders when we still can’t even protect our own right here in America? There is so much concern about the far reaches of the world right now that we are forgetting about our own backyard.

Arizona is about as porous as a spaghetti strainer and still America boasts about its border patrolling abilities, what a joke. Once again this is the Bush Administration catering to countries half way around the world without really taking care of business here at home first.

How can America provide other countries security when itself it is very unprotected? Why should we defend Israels’, or Lebanons’ borders while our own domestic borders go unprotected? I feel this is a good question with no real reasonable answers being provided.

Case in point, reportedly authorities are searching a desert area about 50 miles west of Phoenix were reportedly there were over 90 illegal immigrants found a day earlier milling around in the heat. Many of these illegal immigrants were suffering from lack of fluids and fatigue from extreme temperatures.
