Why are we fighting the war on terror in one country while we enable terrorists through outsourcing in another?

In case you thought it was safe to really do business in India, think again. Reportedly Indian police have detained and questioned up to this point over 400 people thought to be believed linked to Tuesday’s Mumbai train bombings that injured over 800 bystanders as well as killed at least 200 commuters during rush hour. Many officials believe the number of individuals that will be questioned for involvement with the bombings will exceed 700.

American companies are quietly scanning their work force in India to try and locate any of these individuals so they can be dismissed before word hits America of their involvement. Numerous corporate security officials are scrambling to find out where these individuals worked and what data did they have access to.

I bet the outsourcing CEO’s don’t reveal this in their perspectives to shareholders and least of all to you, the customer who may already have their vital information in the hands of these potential terrorists. If they would blow up a train to kill this many innocents do you really think they would not steal your personal data and wreak havoc with it? Come on, you are smarter than that.

Numerous individuals detained for questioning have come from the Mumbai business district, this has been reported repeatedly by the local television stations in the area, they stated that many of those apprehended had been picked up from hotels and guest houses in the financial capital.

Cnn has stated that reportedly the bombs were detonated through pencil timers, which are explosive timers hidden in pencils, these were discovered in at least three of the seven sites where the bombs exploded. The timers are believed to have detonated bombs made of RDX, one of the most powerful kinds of military explosives, the network quoted police as saying Wednesday.

However, CNN could not independently confirm the discovery of the timers or the material used in the explosives. This should let you know that you are dealing with an educated element not some rudimentary Middle Eastern road bomber. Just how concerned should you be? Really concerned is my best opinion.

India is trying to deflect attention to the issue by laying blame on Pakistan. India does not want any stories of potentially damaging nature to its call center area entering into mainstream media. This does not make your vital information safe it merely means that American companies are covering up the risks and the Indian government wants the same.
