Who Takes Americas’ Side On North Korean Missile Issue?

Does North Korea have the right to fire off its missiles or is the world overreacting like North Korea says it is? I also wonder why Russia and China are not more concerned, if the missiles were pointed in their direction I bet we would hear a totally different opinion, just ask Taiwan. Reportedly North Korea has defended its missile tests by advising that they are part of a routine military exercise, they also promised more launches in the immediate future.

Next time you see a made in China label, or hear that businesses are outsourcing to China, remember this statement of support for your American life, “This is the view of the international community, that actions taken should be constructive to maintaining peace in that part of the world.”, as spoken by Chinese Ambassador Wang Guangya. It is amazing how Russia and China want to do business with the United States but when it comes to a threat to our country they are strangely unattached.

The U.N. Security Council wanted a hard line statement condemning North Korea but China and Russia expressed the desire for a weaker statement, reportedly something that would avoid sanctions and the weight of international law.

How can we put so much value on associations with India, and China, and yet get no support in return? When nuclear tipped ICBM’s are flying at your neighborhood at over 300 mph maybe then you will get the point. America has sod itself out in so many instances that when it faces issues like North Korea, and Iran, it stands alone. At times we are like the dumb girlfriend who takes back the cheating boyfriend thinking next time it will be different.

However, in the end we get used and discarded as these countries show little or no concern for our wellbeing or health. We get treated like an H & D, a hitch and ditch. These countries want our jobs, our sales, our money, they just don want anything else.

Someone needs to stand up for America; we do have more to offer the world than just our economy. Doesn’t some other country in the Asian region have a care for America when it comes to her security? If not, maybe we need to rethink our own economic policies.

  1. Let’s face it, more than anything else, the United States needs to stand up for itself. Sure we can always count on England, Australia, Israel, and Denmark to side with us, and maybe the Netherlands, Poland, and Canada too, but that’s usually about it. The reality is that China is too China centered right now, Russia is too Russia centered right now, and countries like France will do whatever will hurt the U.S., every single time. So we just need to wake up to this fact and get on with our lives.
